Highland Glen

Deciding that our mom needed 24 hour memory care help and that our dad/stepdad needed to be in an assisted living arrangement were some of the most difficult decisions we ever had to make. We also had to move them from their longtime home in eastern Oregon to Highland Glen in Utah. Highland Glen was a godsend for our family. The staffs on both the assisted living and the memory care sides were terrific. We especially appreciated Taylor and his memory care team and their work with our mom. I am also grateful to the management and all the help they provided as we settled our parents into this new stage. The facility is well thought-out and well-managed, clean and well cared for, it has many amenities, the food is good, and the staff was great. Although both of our parents are gone now, we are very grateful to this Highland Glen family.

Highland Glen Was a beautiful well kept facility. They took good care of our loved one while she was there. There workers were friendly and kind and usually very helpful. Taylor Tupou Was outstanding. He went above and beyond to help and be kind and attentive. I could recommend Highland Glen Without reservation. Especially if your loved one has interaction with Taylor.

Highland Glen review: My mother spent the final year and a half of her life in the tender care of all the delightful and compassionate caregivers at Highland Glen Memory Care. In her living and in her passing she was treated with dignity and kindness. I know she felt loved. Friendship was fostered among the members of the community. She made friends who laughed, smiled and cried with her. Those dear friends came to bid her farewell with love and tears when she died. My sisters and I were so grateful for all the opportunities we had to participate in the many social activities planned for the residents and their family members. Mother's day luncheons, Easter egg hunts, Luaus, and holiday celebrations, and car shows and BBQs, movies, and cultural events, all planned so the residents could enjoy special times with children and grandkids and whoever they love that could come. We were so grateful for all the help and support through the transition to Hospice Care and finally end of life care. I wish I could remember the names of every single person over there because I know exactly what to thank each one for. But I have a special place in my heart for Taylor Tupou. He walked us through the Hospice process step by step and he always had a smile for my mom and she was quick to return the gesture. It has been a few months now since my mother's passing and my love for Taylor and Kobi and Gaelynn and Ryann and all those who's names escape me but whose loving faces never will, won't soon be forgotten. I was so touched when the staff sent me flowers to acknowledge my loss at her passing. Beautiful people not holding anything back in the care of people I love. A few years ago they also blessed the life of my stepdad in his last months. We feel so blessed to have been a part of the Highland Glen community.

My sweet mom has lived at Highland Glen for over three years now and we are extremely happy. The staff is very friendly and attentive and treats each resident with such love and respect. They have been such a great resource for our family as we are navigating this aging journey with my mom. We are so glad we chose Highland Glen as the best place for my beautiful mom.

My husband has been at memory care at Highland Glen for several months. I really appreciate the CNAs, especially Amy Ryan. She does an excellent job with my husband. Maria, too, is very good. Taylor is always concerned about those in memory care. He is the coordinator and does an amazing job. The activities are always keeping residents busy. Something that is so important at this stage.
