Riverside Place

My Mother had been a resident of Riverside Place since 2018. Placing her in memory care was a very difficult decision for our family. The staff was very welcoming and helped with every step of her transition. My Mom was a care provider and cleaned rooms at a hotel for years. The staff made her a time clock so she simply thought she was going to work each day. It's the small details like this that make her days fulfilling. During the pandemic the staff made sure to keep us informed and that we had ways to communicate with our loved ones to stay involved in their day. We moved away from the area and considered moving her to another facilty closer to us... however everyone in the family agreed we would never find another place as nice and clean with such loving and caring staff. I would 100% recommend Riverside to anyone facing this difficult decision.

My mother is in Riverside memory care. I took care of her in her own home for 3 years until my mom’s condition worsened and she was no longer safe at home. The move to Riverside was a hard choice but we have been very happy with her care. The staff and management have been kind, supportive and wonderful with my mom’s every changing needs. I would recommend Riverside to anyone looking for a safe, caring environment for a loved one with memory impairment.

My mom went to live here several years ago and the care she has gotten has been incredible. Lewy body dementia is so very difficult but the caring staff at Riverside have done everything they can to make my mom feel loved and safe. They’re proactive in reaching out to me and always have time to give me an update. I can’t think of a better place for my mom to live out her final years and comfort. We are so lucky to have such a gem of a facility in grays Harbor relatives came from another state and were definitely jealous!

I have always said that we all have issues, just different ones. Unfortunately we never see some of these coming. We found Riverside Place the facility that fit our needs best. We like the openness, the interaction, games, music, outings whether it's just a ride, Ice cream, picnics, tours and more. We can't make all the outings but try to help as chaperones when possible. It's not easy turning most of the care you have been providing for your loved one for so long over to others. We found it to be best for all of us. They have a Great Staff that really do care. They recognize the different issues each and everyone face to give the best care possible. Thank You all at Riverside Place!

When I first entered the building I was warmly welcomed and once I entered the unit I immediately noticed the smiles and laughter between staff and residents. The unit was kept clean. Resident have been seen engaging in activities all throughout the day. The compassion and kindness that I’ve seen while being here is incredible and hard to find, not much like anything iv seen before!
