From the moment you step into Grand Living @ Tamaya, you’re greeted by a facility that is nothing short of stunning. The environment is elegant and thoughtfully designed, creating a true sense of home and comfort. Samantha Vassel l ,The new Director of Health and Wellness is also a wonderful addition to the team. They bring a calm, reassuring presence that puts residents and families alike at ease. Their peaceful spirit and attentive care make a noticeable difference in daily life here.

The Grand Living at Tamaya experience was absolutely incredible. The building is super gorgeous and clean, I was very impressed. The staff was amazing one in particular was the Director of Health and Wellness Mrs. Samantha Vassel. Mrs Vassel was very understanding, helpful and accommodating. She took the time to answer all questions without getting annoyed. After my visit I will definitely consider placing my mother here where everyone is family and will treat her like family….all smiles!!

A beautifully designed and well-established community that truly feels like home. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and show genuine empathy in all they do. The meals are consistently delicious, with three unique dining venues offering variety and choice. Each day is thoughtfully planned with engaging programs and activities that keep residents active, social, and fulfilled. A truly exceptional place.

When we first brought our mom in, it was or what seemed to be the only option we had. Unfortunately, the level of care from her nurses and nurse staff was far from 5 stars. Then, there was a revamp of staff from all departments. Samantha Vassel, who is over the nurses didn’t help out the situation. It actually worsened. We had called and texted and texts, took her over 3+ days to return. Calls, depended on the day. She is rude and we don’t feel as if considering we are paying over $6k and have a higher level of care, we expected more. Expectations are not met and they are horrifically short on staff. There is maybe one nurse to one to two floors of people. Wait times when you hit the button have gone over three hours or even never addressed. Unacceptable. When you live in an assisted facility, Fall can occur, but when you don’t answer the residence call for when they fall till after three hours later, the damage is already done. Only thing there that’s worth the positive response is Michelle Jones and all front desk staff. They have been the only ray of sunshine. We don’t plan on staying if another opportunity should arise.
