I agree with the earlier reviews indicating the property to be understaffed and ill-equipped to deal with the elderly--especially with memory issues. If you are reading this review, you realize the importance of finding a place for your loved one to be well cared for and acknowledged. Once you find the "perfect" placement, you expect to be there for the long haul. Do not be fooled by the beautiful furnishings and new building. That is all that this place has going for it. Long story short... my father was admitted into the facility with no issue but became a fall-risk. Because Vivera had no men to help him, he was promptly dismissed... they called the EMT to come take him to the VA Center with instructions that he not return! The staff is nice, management puts on a great show; but the moral to this story is: RUN, do not walk from this option!!! There are much better facilities that will sincerely care for your loved one. Vivera is really just lipstick on a pig. Linda Noe's review was on-point and worth a read as well...

My loved one is at Vivera Senior Living of Jeffersonville. She has all the independence she wants but when she has a need, help is right there with a warm smile & caring heart. Thank you to all the caring employees at Vivera! ❤️

I scheduled a tour there yesterday. We arrived and no one knew about our scheduled tour, The only person available was the activities director and she could not answer any of our questions, never sat down with us to go over anything at all and never provided us with a real tour. We saw one apartment and we're asked what else we wanted to see. I'm not sure who we met in the hall, but I believe it was a caregiver. We stopped and she rudely said "Who are these people?" We asked her about laundry and she gave a scowl and attitude. We left with no folder, no info, and felt like they did notcare at all. Not prepared for our tour and their attitudes were very off putting. We left feeling very badly about the whole experience. Needless to say that even the ideal location and that the building was ideal, my family and I are choosing a different facility for my care.

For memory care needs…Unless your loved one is just starting signs of being forgetful, just starting to dribble if they don’t get to the toilet quick enough, then I advise you to not waste your time because that’s all they’re looking for. After being temporarily approved, get a room and move in date, my mom was denied because she was “too far along” (according to their final evaluation) and they don’t want people they think will be too much work. She didn’t know the year or month but she knew everything else. She even gave her middle and maiden name as a bonus when asked her name. I was sitting right there and heard her yet they said she didn’t even know her name. Hmmm. Nice and friendly, nice place, but they don’t want real memory care people. As the director said, it’s their right to choose the level of care they want to give. Sadly, they don’t want the level to be very high. A waste of a lot of time to fulfill all their physical and financial requirements only to be turned away. What a joke. Linda

Moved our mom here about a month ago. Such an upgrade! Staff is present and involved, facility is clean, great care. Definitely recommended.
