Arden Courts of Jefferson Hills

The decision to place your loved one in memory care is a difficult and painstaking journey for any family. Luckily for us, after touring 9 other facilities in the Pittsburgh metro area (and feeling rather disillusioned), we found Arden Courts Jefferson Hills. From day one we were met with the utmost compassion from Terri, Sally, & Kristen who helped us plan my mother-in-law's move into what would become her forever home. It has been almost a year an a half that she has resided there and our fondness of the staff and the care that they provide only continues to grow! The site of a former drive-in theater, Arden Courts Jefferson Hills is nestled amongst gorgeous sprawling green hills. Liz & her staff provide a fantastic activities calendar jam-packed with programming that both stimulates and socializes the residents. Caretakers in each of the "houses" are respectful, gentle, and kind. We are so endlessly appreciative of all that they do to care for this very special population. My husband and I have had several meals at Arden Courts prepared by the chef and his team - all delicious! And most importantly, prepared with careful consideration given to the dietary preferences and needs of each resident. Residents move freely throughout the facility and its grounds, unlike other continuum of care facilities, which confine its memory care population to a specific hallway or floor. Arden Courts Jefferson Hills is strictly a memory care facility, with a design backed by science, and staffed by the most wonderful people, all specially trained in memory care. All of that combines to provide our family peace of mind that my mother-in-law is in great hands. We love being part of the Arden Courts family!

I cannot say enough good things about Arden Courts. My dad had been in 3 places since a medical issue 6 months ago—first the hospital, then rehab, and now Arden Courts. He got good care at all 3 places, but Arden Courts is the first place where I realized that I’m not constantly on edge or worried about how he is doing. The staff and caregivers are all so respectful and caring. They know how to care for dementia patients and truly redirect issues before they turn into problems. If i could give 6 stars I would.

Arden Courts truly understands Dementia care. Their staff not only gets to know your loved one, the truly care about your loved one. There is always activities going on. The residents are always engaged no matter what their functioning level might be. The staff has longevity which says a lot about the leadership (who in my opinion is top notch in the field). We recently moved my MIL from another facility and I’m telling you Arden Courts is amazing. We couldn’t be happier. Our only regret is not doing it sooner!

My mother has been at Arden Courts- Jefferson Hills for about a month and my family and I are so pleased with her experience there so far. The staff in this community are knowledgeable and kind and we have so appreciated the way that they have treated my mother during her transition. They are very easy to communicate with. The facility itself is warm, colorful, and welcoming and the community programming is interesting and appropriate for adults with dementia. This community has the most beautiful grounds and outdoor space of any other community that we toured. We toured nine other communities when trying to find a placement for my mom (she has moderate Alzheimer’s) and this one was far and away the best in the Pittsburgh area.

We as a family have been so happy with our Mom being in Arden Courts. It has been 2yrs. Since day one she has felt welcome and comfortable. Us to. She loves all the activities they have to keep her busy everyday. We also like they have alot of activities to include us to participate in,including great holiday dinners! What's really special is. If she is having a bad day or feeling lonely. There is always someone from the staff giving her a hug and kiss letting her know she is loved❤️I appreciate all they do for everyone that they care for everyday❤️ They are truly our second family. We have never had any regrets having Mom in there care. I cannot Thank them all enough!
