My Mom has lived at Farrington Court for over 12 years. She is loved, safe, and cared for by all of the staff! From the amazing dining staff that makes sure she has what she needs to get to the next activity or event. To Che, the Entertainment Coordinator, who works so hard to make everyday filled with fun and engaging activities! My Mom is always talking about the exciting events they get to do with Che throughout the day. And, of course, Ric, always such a wonderful gentleman! Calling Bingo and helping in every way possible, country drives, trips to the doctors’ offices and Fred Meyer. I can’t say enough about Farrington Court! This is the best place for my Mom!!
My 92 year old mom who was living independently agreed to visit potential Assisted Living Facilities. She needed immediate care, but continued to not recognize the urgency of her need for assistance in her living activities. When she met the wonderful staff and saw the 2 bedroom beautiful apartment at Farrington she surprised us all by immediately choosing to become a resident. That has been the most important decision she could have made. In the last five months she has put on over 5 pounds and looks like her self again. It took a week for her to get used to the ability to press a button and have help within 5 minutes. She has overcome her normal reaction to do everything herself because the staff is so warm and wonderful to her and each resident. There are a couple of residents that would be considered a test of patience for anyone. The Farrington staff is beyond human patience in handling them. Mom is now involved in Bridge, Poker, Tai Chi, Exercise, Rides around the area in their bus to sites and restaurants. Juan, the all around tech and maintenance guy, was terrific in getting her cable setup and revising a door to make her bathroom entry easy for entry with a walker. Ric encouraged mom to get involved in car games and bus trips. He is the greatest. Marcia is where the buck stops. The excellent staff is a tribute to her energy and successful leadership. At the front desk, Jill, Renee, Maryann, Steve, and Olyvia truly welcome visitors and are welcoming with residents always. The cafeteria chef and staff are as good as you would find at a Country Club. They always have a beautiful menu and offer choices not on the menu too. Great job Farrington Court! Since much has happened in the 3 years since my first review, it is time for an update. While my mom had a near death experience, the resources and expertise of the staff at Farrington Court were the key to her ambulance ride to Valley Medical where she defied the odds and returned to Farrington where their great staff in medical care, activities, care and driver have supported her success in continuing to enjoy life. We couldn't ask for more.
The facility was amazing. Staff was wonderful. :)They hosted our monthly meeting today 5-11-21 and they were amazing. The chef made these amazing sandwiches, desserts, potato salad and everything was from scratch. EVEN THE BREAD. We got a tour of the facility and they have great activities through out the day and on the daily. They also have remodeled the building on the inside recently and it looks amazing. THANK YOU AGAIN for hosting our company (CONCIERGE CARE ADVISORS) and we appreciate you so much ! Great hospitality.
Farrington Court Assisted & Senior Living has been an incredible choice for my dad, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with his upcoming move into an apartment he designed himself! The community is warm, welcoming, and offers a vibrant lifestyle with thoughtful amenities and personalized care. From the spacious apartments to the gourmet dining options and engaging activities, Farrington Court truly stands out as a place where seniors can thrive. We want to give special recognition to Andrew Harris, their exceptional family advisor. Andrew has gone above and beyond in making this transition seamless and exciting for our family. His genuine care, attention to detail, and ability to listen to our needs have been remarkable. He guided us through every step of the process with professionalism and compassion, ensuring my dad felt confident and excited about his new home. Andrew’s dedication has made all the difference, and we are incredibly grateful for his support. Thank you to Andrew and the entire team at Farrington Court for creating a space where seniors can live comfortably, independently, and joyfully. We’re looking forward to seeing my dad embrace this new chapter surrounded by such a wonderful community!
My Father-in-law just passed away, and unfortunately we have learned A LOT about Farrington Court in the last 2 months. My FIL was hospitalized for 2 weeks when he told us he didn’t want go back upon discharge. After some discussion we found out that he was not being cared for by the aids at Farrington Court. He was a care level 4, and when he pushed his button in the middle of the night, the “care” aid would walk in and yell at him that it was the middle of the night and he needed to go to sleep. They would then turn around and leave without assisting him in what he originally called for. He also told us that it took a long time for them to respond to his clicking of the button. At this point we let Farrington Court know that he would not be returning AND why he would not be returning. We promptly moved him out. They requested a meeting with us. We sat down with them and were told that the aids involved were “disciplined” (NOT FIRED). Again we assured them he would not return. My FIL ended up spending almost 6 weeks in the hospital and then went into hospice. We unfortunately lost him after a week in hospice. The following Monday Farrington Court emptied his bank account $2,995! When we called we were told my FIL was charged for August because he hadn’t given them WRITTEN NOTICE of his move out. We pointed out the MANY times we had verbally told them he wasn’t coming back and not one person mentioned to us, that we needed to give written notice. Think twice before you place your loved ones here. They are about business NOT care! We will be reporting my FIL’s care to DSHS and will write as many warning reviews that we can. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Oh, and one more thing, I looked at the pictures they have posted of Farrington Court. It looks NOTHING like the pictures. Very creative photography or else incredibly old pictures.
