Atria Kew Gardens

Atria Kew Gardens is such a welcoming community. From the moment you walk in, the building feels inviting and well maintained. The common areas are comfortable and thoughtfully designed, creating a sense of home. The staff goes above and beyond to make residents feel cared for and valued—they’re compassionate, professional, and genuinely kind. There’s a true feeling of connection and community here amongst the residents. Overall, Atria Kew Gardens has an uplifting and supportive atmosphere that brings peace of mind to families and joy to those who live here.

We chose Atria for mom because it was geographically close to my sister and I And she will stay there because it’s really wonderful! From our introduction to the place with Jocelyn and Gitare to today seeing moms smile when she introduced us to her aide! The entire staff really cares. The place is immaculate , and the apartments are lovely

I'm so sorry I have taken so long in writing this review! Mom and I decided to start looking at Senior Living facilities in February. I was going on vacation and didn't feel comfortable leaving mom home alone. We visited many facilities but Atria as a brand stood out. We chose Atria Kew Gardens. Jocelyn Wong has been more than patient and accommodating. The facility is always clean, the apartments are great size, the residents and staff are always welcoming. The food!!! I've had lunch 2 times and dinner once. I think mom's only complaint is that her plate is too small. Mom has brought her best friend Cookie (Her Shih Tzu) to live with her and they seem very happy there. So... what started as a respite stay while I was going on vacation has turned into a home.

Atria memory care became my 95 yr old dads new home last year..Unfortunately he is now in hospice due to his severe decline. I could not believe how emotional I was packing up his room he was so well cared for and never asked to go home. never did I worry about his care .staff was so attentive and respectful to the clients..and if he makes a recovery I will be knocking on Atria door to bring him back.

In terms of the administrative staffs from the front office to the floor supervisors, the range of activities available for residents, cleanliness and value for the money, Atria Kew Gardens ranks very high. Equally impressive are the compassionate care-givers, many of whom have been there 10-15 years and have a resident's best interest and safety at heart.The facility is only a 10-minute walk from the LIRR station, or a 3- to 5-minute bus ride. It is located in a lovely, quiet, well-kept residential neighborhood and is within walking distance of a couple of multi-cultural restaurants/cafes, a diner, a pastry shop, and a book store. I have a family member in the Memory Care section.
