MORNINGSTAR is your home away from home. The people who live here become your Friends and Family. We all have a story to tell. Some tell about their life while eating dinner. Another may give tidbits here and there like a puzzle slowly getting put together. People come from near and far. I came from 20 minutes away on Redmond Ridge where my then husband and I lived. He passed away and I found myself looking for something that was easier to manage. I walked into MorningStar and it felt peaceful. My daughter and I went on the tour and we were very impressed. I moved here in March. I enjoy my 1 bedroom apartment that I share with my dog. The food is very good with a varied menu to choose from. I had Wilfried as my server. He was very kind and professional. The service was excellent and he had a great demeanor, very friendly and funny as well. Made for a good dinner! Everyone was friendly, the environment was amazing, and the food was good! From what I saw it is a great place.

Morning Star is a genuine community of active, positive individuals who truly care about and enjoy each other. I am constantly amazed by the kindness shown by both staff and residents. I’m fortunate that my son, who lives nearby and convinced me to move to Washington from Houston, Texas, and I found MS and chose it among several attractive possibilities. MS has a special spirit about it that the others lacked. Even my two little dogs Peewee and Buddy love being here where they’ve are showered daily with affection and treats.

Morningstar has been a blessing for our family. The staff and environment have made the transition for my parents from independent living in their own home to a senior living apartment as smooth as possible. The staff is so caring, especially Rosemary at the front desk and Wilfred in the dining room, we are so thankful

My Mom lives at Morning Star Kirland and I dine with her 2-3 times a week. I can not say enough about how wonderful the team is. I will call out specifically Sunny, Wilfred, Carmen and Billy. The residents can sometimes be cantankerous and the entire team including the front desk is patient and understanding. The food is exceptional with a wide variety of options and a daily special. The chefs creativity seems to be unending. Thank you all for taking such good care of your residents.
