Sunrise Assisted Living at La Palma

My mom moved to Ivy Park of La Palma at the beginning of the year and what a gem of a community! Ivy Park feels like a home and looks like a mansion. Everyone works together and they really care about the residents. The first person I met was Alana, marketing director, and she was warm and caring from the get-go and still greets me to chit chat whenever I visit. Grace, the assisted living director is on top of everything and is always available. Thanks to Kristen my mom is busy throughout the day with captivating activities like jewelry making, seasonal crafts, and weekly journeys. Carl is also always available and his staff takes care of all my mom's medical needs. So impressive and well coordinated! The front desk is always kind and welcoming but so are all the staff. Jennifer the executive director does such a great job at the helm; I even bump into her on the weekends all smiles and bubbly! This community is just a well-oiled ship. Its well organized; everyone is happy and pleasant; and the family activities are top-notch and I must add the meals are delicious and the dining staff are very kind and dedicated. I am so happy my mom is living at Ivy Park of La Palma where she feels safe and cared for by everyone.

I love this community, my grandma is there. After a lot of thought and a great tour we were confident with Ivy Park at La Palma. The Marketing Director Alana was very informative, knowledgeable and caring. We felt at ease leaving grandma in their care. Such a wonderful community, all our elders should be treated this way.

I was warmly welcomed by Alana, she made me feel comfortable throughout my tour here. Alana genuinely listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. This facility has a homey and inviting feel rather than institutional. I could definitely envision my father living here when he moves out here.

I think Sunrise of La Palma is a great option for our seniors. I had the pleasure of volunteering to play music for a special event recently and found the staff and residents to be fun and inviting. One of the residents, a musician played along with his drum sticks on the seat of his walker. I thought it was both charming and impressive. I enjoyed my experience and look forward to volunteering there again soon.
