Caleo Bay Retirement Living

Caleo Bay is a wonderful community. My loved one is being well cared for in this clean, quiet facility with activities for exercise and stimulation throughout the day, excellent food and a wise and caring safe who lovingly care for residents.

This review is long overdue. My spouse has been living at Caleo Bay for several months, and overall, I feel very fortunate we found this place. The facility is well-maintained, the layout is thoughtfully designed, and security is solid—which gives me peace of mind. What stood out early on was how welcoming and transparent the staff were. Anthony, the marketing director, gave me a thorough tour and took time to answer all of my questions with honesty and care. He even arranged a casual meet-and-greet with the management team, including the chef, so I could learn more about the daily life here and they could learn about my spouse. While no place is perfect, Caleo Bay has consistently shown itself to be well-run and staffed by kind, attentive people. I genuinely recommend it.

My husband has been a resident of Caleo Bay for the past 2 1/2 years. I had the opportunity of visiting several assisted living communities prior to that when I was searching for a place for my mom years ago. I selected Caleo Bay for my husband for two main reasons: the high caliber of staff, and the design of the facility. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming, and treats the residents like family members. I would make a list of exceptional employees, but that would be an all-inclusive list of employees! The design of the facility is excellent in that the residents can walk, use their walker, or whatever means of travel they use, and never come to a "dead end", or a long dank hallway. The circular design encourages walking and socializing among the residents. There is always an activity going on and family members are always welcome to visit or participate. Parties are exceptionally joyous and we have all discovered that you don't necessarily have to be a youngster to "get down"! You can't help but smile when you're dancing with the fun-loving staff. Alma and Lupita are particularly talented at making sure everyone has a good time!

I was lucky enough to be referred to Caleo Bay by our caregiver and it was the best advice I’ve ever received !!!!! My mom did not what to leave her home but with the extreme help of the directors Sheila and Anthony my mom has been safe and in her new home for going on 3 years . With the assistance of the new director Maria and Alma the recreational director my mom has flourished in her new surroundings. She goes out to lunch , gets her hair and nails done ( something she never did at home ), has constant activities and she has the 24 hour protection that Caleo Bay offers . One of the advantages here is that every resident has some degree of memory issues so everyone is in the same boat . My mom doesn’t remember me anymore but I can live with that knowing that she is being loved and taken care of by the wonderful people at Caleo Bay ❤️. Thank you all …..

My dad has been here for 2 years and in my opinion, there is absolutely no better place than Caleo Bay! The staff is so warm and inviting to visiting relatives. They are attentive, positive, respectful, and loving toward the residents, and treat them as if they were their own family members. It takes a special person to do this job, and every staff member I have encountered goes above and beyond in all areas! There are crafts, mind exercises, movement activities, and music going on all day, every day, and residents are lovingly encouraged to participate in everything. Every holiday is celebrated with live music, dancing, smiles, and laughter. My dad has thrived in this environment and has been even more active and engaged than I could have ever hoped for! Special shout-outs to Alma and Lupita, who both radiate absolute sunshine and positivity, and make family feel so welcomed at Caleo Bay 🧡
