Oswego Place Assisted Living Community

I read the reviews but decided to trust my placement professional to find me a good place for respite care after falling and breaking my knee. I was immediately surprised at the building architecture and surroundings and upon entering my room, I was greeted by sunlight,clean, fresh, and a great room, kitchenette and bedroom, large roll in shower and bathroom. I was greeted by name and even one of the residents was holding a place for me at lunch. The executive staff is very professional but warm and kind. The support staff is equally amenable. I have never had anyone be short with me upon a request. The activities Director is amazing in the number of activities she organizes. If you are looking for a place for yourself or a family member, this facility is a nice size. Not too small, not too big. I would definitely return here if necessary for my wellbeing.

Hardly any staff on site, the mangers are so rude along with Gina. I still can’t believed they transferred her and had her fire my grandmother, it was definitely targeted. The owners of this chain of retirement communities are truly a disgusting corporate owned business only seeking money and not in best interest of the elderly. They need to be looked into and while we don’t have the time to do bring them to all the legal woes, we know someone will eventually.

ZERO STARS, Management staff are rude and turnover there is weekly. They only have one maybe 2 caregivers per shift, so residents are yelling for help for hours on end with no help. They have had a recent Resident taken to the hospital for bedsores. We are making a formal complaint as well. Response to Owner- No thank you. You do not take them seriously and terminate staff for speaking out. The way I have seen staff treated by the new manager Gina or Jena, whatever her name is, is sad. I understand she came from another location where she was almost fired, but saved by you. You also have multiple activities on the calendar which never happen and then you ask activities staff to "look busy" when new people walk through on tours.

What a wonderful wonderful place! The building and property are clean and cheerful… the rooms were bright and comfortable… from the moment I arrived the staff was warm, inviting, and friendly! The receptionist was great… The tour with Jeania and Kiersten was thorough…and made me feel at ease! It was such great experience.. I wrote a deposit check on the spot knowing Jeania would be working to help me get my brother placed in a room that fits his needs and helping us pick the right plan for our needs!

My mother-in-law has been getting excellent care at Oswego Place for the past 4 years. She loves the three carefully prepared meals and the in-room service. The staff is very friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure her comfort. Also, they do an excellent job of dispensing her medication and making sure that she is on time for her doctor appointments. She has made many friends and is very happy with the overall Oswego Place experience.
