I have never ever in my life witnessed and saw above and beyond staff before! The way they treat and handle patients is amazing! Two aides came to a local ice cream shop in the area with the residents they were both very professional and treated all residents like family and spoiled them! They engaged with the residents set with them assisted them. You don't find many people dedicated to their job in this field! I have worked in nursing homes and have never seen anything like this! You can tell they stand behind everything and treat residents like family.

Our family member arrived at Brookdale almost 3 years ago. We had looked at other places, but Brookdale Lexington seemed more lively and upbeat. We are pleased with the care he has received. Staff, including the personal care givers, medication techs, director, managers and primary care provider, have been very accessible and accommodating. Our family member has extensive health issues and they have been right on top of continually assessing his needs. It’s a plus that Brookdale Lex is small compared with other places. There’s definitely a sense of community which is so vital to the emotional well-being of the residents.

The staff at Brookdale Lexington is not only amazing but go the extra mile for the residence. They also have loving heart towards the family and their needs or their concerns. They also keep the residents busy and have plenty of activities. I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a loved one.
