Brookdale Alderwood

Brookdale Alderwood is a wonderful facility with friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a clean environment for my Grandfather who needs memory care assistance. We are happy that he is involved in activities, entertainment and socializing with the other residents. We are happy with his care and the fact that we are welcome to visit with him regularly.

My Dad has been here for a week and we were concerned about him making the transition from home care to group care. The staff has been fabulous in making things as seamless as possible. Dad likes the activities, the food and talking to other clients. We, his family appreciate the cleanliness and smart set up of the rooms and “neighborhoods” but most of all the people who genuinely care about our Dad.

If you are searching for a care facility for a loved one with Alzheimer's, I highly recommend that you visit Brookdale Alderwood before making a decision. I visited Brookdale when my husband was having difficulty at another establishment. Brookdale employees gave me an in-depth tour and invited me to come and spend more time observing their practices. I am very impressed with their gentle and expert interactions with sufferers of this awful disease. I took notes and went back to my husband's facility to encourage them to make changes. When you place a loved one in care, it is important to choose wisely because any change is very hard on them. We are working to make our chosen facility work for us, and the people there are striving to improve, but I wish I had included Brookdale Alderwood in my original search

My step-mother has advanced dementia and we relocated her to Brookdale Alderwood from another local memory care unit. That was the best decision we could have made for her care. The entire staff at Brookdale take a positive and rehabilitative approach, and treat residents with the care and dignity a human being deserves. My stepmother will never recover from her disease, but she has significantly improved in just the short time she’s been at Brookdale. We take great comfort knowing the team at Brookdale gives her the best quality of care and life possible!

Chris Rubio was our intake representative and he was the best. He took personal care of our situation. He was kind, gentle, and truly concerned about our specific needs. He is a gem to your business. We look forward to many interactions with him throughout Elida Baltz's stay at Brookdale. We had toured many facilities but the staff and their concern of not only what they could do for Elita but how she would fit with there community was refreshing. The professionalism of the staff, cleanliness of the facility, quality of the food and programs involved made this a easy decision for us.
