LINDEN HOUSE 2

"My family member resides here. I visited her and the state surveyor was there. We shared some concerns about her client rights and the facility not practicing least restrictive environment. Her food that was personally bought was locked up and she was not given immediate access even though she does not have a guardian.They indicated she cannot have it because she will "make a mess". Her bedroom sheets had not been changed for months and the room was very dirty. They argued that the resident was offered help in cleaning but refused help. Therfore the room was not mopped for over a year. The curtains over her bed were hanging on the window and had Falken on her while she was sleeping. There is a hole 8n the ceiling that has been there gor over a year They lock up the phone and deny residents access, I called and there was no answer. When I arrived the employee said she " loved the phone up because a resident wanted to call the police. They withheld her personal funds and the excuse was , she will just spend it on cigarettes...which is legally her right. The owner, Kelly came to the facility and confronted me, she was not trying to have a conversation, she was combative from jump. 15 minutes after I left to go home, they served my family member with eviction papers simply as an act of retaliation. Please do not put your loved ones in homes owned by this company!"
