New Perspective Island Shores

My grandmother was admitted there and it has been nothing short of royal! They cater to her, her meds are given on time, they have great meals and a wonderful dining experience. The staff are very polite and understanding. If you’re looking for a place for a loved one, this place is wonderful!

I have lived at New Perspective Island Shores for one year and feel that now I can write a well thought out review.. The apartment is very nice, although I have been a little rough on it with my power wheelchair. :-) There are nice size windows which bring in lots of light and the outdoors. There is nothing dim or sad here! The facility is warm, welcoming and well maintained. The dining room is really pretty with windows wrapping around providing a panoramic view of the river. This is lovely in the winter, as well as spring, summer and fall. Menu offerings are good with daily specials, as well as menu options if the special does not appeal to you. Feedback and suggestions are always sought. The community area provides options to play cards, participate in arts and crafts, enjoy music performers, participate in exercise, attend church services and/or prayer group, etc. There is a TV room which is great for Packer games. There is a library and an area for jigsaw puzzles, as well as a library with a community computer. There is a Friday happy hour and shuffle board tounament. Also, there are scheduled outings to restaurants and parks. I personally have relearned cribbage and first-time learned bridge. I keep to myself when I want, but I certainly don’t have to. Residents here are involved and enjoying each other. That speaks volumes. I have MS and need a level of help that I cannot get at home. The caregivers/CNAs are kind and attentive. I can't think of any caregiver who is not kind, as well as professional. Frankly, all the staff is nice: administration, office, housekeeping, maintenance, dining, and healthcare care.

Island Shores assistant living facility is wonderful. My mother and father live here. The apartments are nice and the location is perfect, right by the water. They have wonderful activities, and the staff is friendly, kind, and helpful. I would highly recommend this assistant living facility.

Highly recommend for Senior Living - my mom is currently a resident at New Perspectives Island Shores and A+ goes to all care givers, culinary services, enrichment and activity staff, cleaning services, reception, and all volunteers!!! Exceptional leadership as the Executive Director and her staff are on it! Everyone is kind, caring and skilled. Beautiful environment, clean and engaging. Thank you all!!

Island Shores has been home to my dad since July of 2017. It has truly helped him become healthier & happier. He has been most impressed with dining & activities. I love the consistent care he receives. I can’t wait for visiting to open up safely again.
