Wonderful facility! Our Mom is very happy here. She moved in 2 years ago, and is really thriving with all of the activities, friends and meals. ♥️
What a wonderful place! Super clean, always smells nice. I can’t say enough about the staff, they are all amazing and you can tell they genuinely care about their residents!!!
What a great place! The residents are always smiling and look so happy. All the food looks amazing and there is plenty of fun activities to keep the residents on the go and occupied! Would never dream of sending my family any place else. The staff is top notch and cares for residents like they are their own family.
This place talked a good game, however, the nursing staff did not deliver. We paid for assisted living with hygiene and medication help. There were several occasion my father was sitting in soiled pants because they were locking him up on the memory care side during the day and he had no room on that side so could not find the bathroom. They put him over there because my dad is in great physical shape and it was bothersome for the nurses to deal with him and spend anytime redirecting him. Their quote was “he was too active.” They promised engagement Instead they were very confrontational and staff was not trained on how to redirect. They left him in a closed room environment and when I walked in the room it felt like it was 100 degrees and my father was laying flat on his back with a bright red face and almost had heat stroke. When I asked the nurses why he was like that they told me it was not their fault because my dad closed the door. Hello he has dementia so open the door back up. They were supposed to be looking out for him not blaming him. In one instance I asked for a UTI test to be done on a Thursday and called back on a Tuesday to see if he had an UTI. I was told they still did not get the sample almost 6 days later. Once they finally got around to testing him he actually had a UTI and the head nurse claimed they usually do not treat his level of infection. They called the family later and asked to sedate him to slow him down and my dad wanted no part of that and fought taking his medication so they hauled him off to a psych ward. When he arrived at psych ward he still had UTI and they believe this is what caused him to push back. There answer was to sedate my father and actually he was suffering from UTI. No wonder my dad kept telling me they were drugging him. He was right. They should have concentrated on healing him not giving him more drugs to sedate him. We pulled him out and he is doing great, riding his Peleton and lifting weights. This was an awful experience and I not recommend you put your loved one here.
Have never seen a facility and staff more dedicated to the happiness of their residents. You can tell all the directors put time and effort into making this a safe and happy place. The young man that works there named Gabe always has a smile and is so sweet to everyone, people like him make this facility top notch!
