The Pines of Newmarket

We moved both my parents in Feb 2025 and are very happy with their care here. Although Dad passed, Mom picked up quickly with making friends and enjoying all the activities they offer! She’s healthy and happy. We are grateful! We also love their family holiday events. Thank you Pines!

I am giving this 5 star review because my mother has been residing at The Pines for almost 6 months now and I feel I can give an honest opinion. I am very pleased with the care she has received so far. Is it perfect? Not always, but they are kind, caring and address her needs as they come up. She can no longer live at home alone and we have found The Pines to be a very good option for her, and, right in her hometown! She likes the food, the nurses and aides have been great with her and she likes them all. That is a plus. One thing I would note and we were told it can be an issue, when we went for our tour, is that the laundry can sometimes be challenging for them. We haven't had major issues, but just something to work on. It is hard to address with weekend caregivers as they are usually from an Agency and aren't as familiar with residents items, but they have all been great with my mother and The Pines protocols from what I can see as I usually stop in on one weekend day. Overall, very happy and if we have a concern, I feel we can go to the Administrators and discuss. I'm comfortable when I leave my mom after each visit and that is the most important thing!

My mom and I have been very impressed with the Pines of Newmarket. My grandmother has been here almost a year, and she is happy at the Pines. The staff here are wonderful - Michael, Cheryl, Bob, and Jennifer. My grandmother has received excellent care from the nurses and aides. Everyone who works here loves their job and they care deeply about the residents. The facility is warm, cozy and clean. My grandmother has made friends at the pines. The building is not too large, and the hallways all connect, forming a loop. The dining room is centrally located. This layout is helpful for residents, making it easier for them to find their way around the building. My mom and I are so glad to have found the Pines. My grandmother has been doing very well here.

I play music in many, many Seniors facilities yet I have never seen a better seniors facility than The Pines of Newmarket in NH. Every time we play music at this Fantastic facility, the great Residents and Phenonminal Staff is Always singing along, Smiling and most times, Dancing. The facility is always spotlessly Clean and the Professional Staff has the attention of Every Resident there. If, when it comes time for me to be a Resident and Nieghbor to the Residents and Staff at The Pines, I hope I will be able to move in when that time comes. My friend has lived at the Pines for almost two years. I have witnessed great improvement in her mobility and communication since moving there. There are always fun activities offered and great entertainers. She is genuinely happy living there. The staff is helpful when I come to pick her up for lunch. Michael and Jennifer in the front office are also lovely to deal with.
