The laundry lady and cleaning lady are very sweet and helpful. Darcy is Great with everyone very friendly and inviting.

Can’t describe how delighted my 92-year-oId mom and I are about this place. The decor is clean, bright and welcoming - more like a community center, with park and garden spaces, than a nursing home. I’ve joined Mom for a few meals, and they are always flavorful, made with good quality food. Rooms are generously sized, and any issues - heaters, wall mounting for TVs, etc. - are seen to in a timely manner. The entire facility is designed with safety and security in mind, and residents are urged to take advantage of the “rolling hydration cart” with its water, beverages and snacks, making rounds twice a day. Fitness activities, crafts, and field/shopping trips are offered daily. Local musical talent offer mini-concerts. But the thing that sets this place apart is the staff. I cannot say enough good about each of them. Darcy, the marketing says, “Once you’re here, you’re ours!” And she means it. We had some logistic issues moving my mom here from outside the area; Darcy, Ronda (case manager) and Matt (not sure his title) went above and beyond to see that she was comfortable while waiting for her furniture, wardrobe etc. to arrive (over a month!). Ann, the laundress, and Russ and Jack-of-all-trades could not be more kind or accommodating to her needs. The nursing staff are cheerful, attentive and helpful, ALWAYS. Kitchen staff are above and beyond. It seems something lively is always going on - the week of Halloween, there was a theme for every day, and it was so fun to see the costumes that staff AND residents came up with! I’m telling you, the staff makes this place. I can’t always be there for her, but they are. Can’t recommend this place highly enough - it’s truly the answer to prayers.

I can't say enough good things about this senior care facility. The local hospital said my father should not be taken back his home. We live out of town and were in a panic, but were referred to Brookdale Ontario. We explained our situation to Darcy the sales director and she jumped into action. She got Russ and Matt to agree to run to my dad's place to grab his things (including bed and TV) and set him up that day. Then she had my dad evaluated and drove him from the hospital to his new apartment. This lady is a force of nature to be able to get him moved in one day. During my father's stay, I was amazed by the change in character in him. He used to be angry and unhappy. In a matter of weeks he was grateful for almost everything and pretty happy with things in general. He experienced some falls and health issues during his stay, but the care staff at this facility was outstanding. Ronda and Misti, the nurses, always kept me in the loop and offered solutions. These ladies are the unsung heroes at Brookdale. I understand they regularly work 12-16 hour shifts just so nothing is put off until the next day. I would get calls in the early morning and late evening, so I can vouch for the long hours being put in. Unfortunately, we moved my father to be closer to us and to a different Brookdale facility expecting the same level of care we received in Ontario. Our family is grateful to Brookdale Ontario, and highly recommend the staff and facility to anyone that needs a senior care facility.

Beautiful place for my dad to live. They have taken great care of him. He is actually doing better than he was when he first moved in! Activities are wonderful, staff is great and the nurses genuinely care about the people. The costs can be spendy, but I like how they tailor it to fit just what he needs. Highly recommend!

Brookdale has been wonderful to work with. Darcy was helpful and informative when we came for a tour of the facility and lunch. I am there almost every day and am greeted and welcomed by all the staff with a smile and hello. When I have a concern or simple question about billing DeAnna has taken care of it. I have attended menu planning and Thomas, the chef, is willing to listen and implement the ideas we present. I have been at resident council and love that Matthew is trying and succeeding in geting more residents to the meetings to discuss what THEY want from their facility. This facility has gone above my expectations and I would recommend anyone looking for a place for their loved ones to take a tour.
