Brookdale Palestine

My mom has been a resident at Brookdale Palestine for many years. In that time, she has met some of the nicest people. Other residents and the entire staff are like family. It's a great place to live permanently or for a short-term stay.

My brother has been living in the Brookdale Palestine Facility for 2years. He went there with several health issues to deal with, having said this, he has been taken care of in so many ways at this place by so many caring people that are employed here. However, one comes to mind that treats me as if I am part of her huge extended family there. She always has the answers and if she doesn’t she will give it her all to make things happen. She has so much compassion, knowledge and is magic at times. This angel/nurse’s name there is Kelly. There are not enough words to express how she has been a blessing to me and my brother is so many ways. All of the staff there, so friendly and accommodating. We love you Brookdale!❤️

Brookdale Palestine is your home away from home. The staff is so welcoming and attentive. I have attended many social events at Brookdale. They cater to the residents providing great activities. Sarah always has a smile and willing to help not only her residents feel at home, but by sharing a outpouring of love to the community. Thank you Brookdale for all you do!

When looking at assisted living communities for parents or any loved one, you generally want to gauge the quality of life that residents have at these facilities, to help you decide if it is the place for them. The staff at Brookdale in Palestine TX, work with such synchronicity, that the place is always so enthusiastic and positive, the way all assisted living communities should be! The event coordinator seems to always have a schedule line-up that consists of events that the residents seem to enjoy so much. There was not a large number of residents the last time I visited, and this helps the staff get to spend more quality time 1-on-1 with residents. This too, contributes to the family-feel environment, and helps residents feel and know how special and important, each and every one of them are. Job well done Brookdale in Palestine!

Brookdale has the best burgers! We were invited for a front porch lunch as a way to "tour" the home and simply get a feel for place and staff. We were pleasantly surprised with the food. We had cheese burgers with fresh cut fries and fried fish baskets with homemade tartar sauce. Very nice front porch visit with great conversation. Overall friendliness was shown among all the staff that came out to meet our grandmother with proper social distancing of course.
