Leah runs an amazing assisted Living Home. The staff here genuinely cares, is organized and clean. What a great place for those who need care like this.

My husband spent 4 months at Silver Star recovering from a stroke. The staff was very patient and understanding. Leah, the owner, is firm, but gentle with the residents. The home is very clean and well kept. I highly recommend Silver Star!

My mom was taken care of by Leah and her staff. They always made sure she was comfortable and had everything she needed. The house was always very clean and well taken care of. I highly recommend this great care home to anyone that wants a high level of care for their loved ones

While my mom's time was short, the owner is super on top of everything. She took care of everything from doctors, to ordering supplies and helping with hospice care and much more. The staff was very helpful and kind. The house is immaculate! I would highly recommend the Silver Star Assisted Living for your loved ones.

Unfortunately Mom passed away earlier this week (after falling and breaking her hip at Silver Star). While the house appears to be clean the residents are another story. They are propped up in chairs and stare at the TV all day (usually in the same clothes for days). There were times when we visited that she had no bra, no teeth and smelled so bad you could hardly breath near her and the others. There seemed to be little or no stimulation for them which is probably why she ended up with blood clots at the end. Her passing (along with our Dad also at Silver Star) while very sad for myself and my sisters will have them together again in a better place. Both parents passed away at the beginning of a month and the owners response was the same. Her main concern was when would she be getting the full $4000 payment for that month?? Her statement was that the contract says all money paid in nonrefundable. My parents had very little money at the end and I feel like she was just squeezing the family for as much as she could get. I have so many negative thoughts about Silver Star I'm not even sure how to list them without writing 3 more pages. I'll just end this review and say "I would not recommend sending anyone you love there".
