Very nice facility, small and quaint, which my Mom loves. The staff is responsive, caring and kind. My Mom was not interested in going to an assisted living facility, but after going through some medical challenges she accepted the idea and now loves the life she has. Sunrise of Plainview has been our mom’s home for the past 2 years. Our family has piece of mind that she has thrived in the warm and attentive environment that the staff provides. I’m sure we have not met all of the wonderful staff. I’m certain they are all as caring as Angela, Phyllis and Linda at the front desk, as well as Sara, Kamla, Claire, Nancy, Gabriel, the nursing and dining staff, and all the others I have failed to mention. It gives our family great piece of mind to know that our mom continues to lead an enjoyable and engaging life at Sunrise of Plainview.
It is a daunting responsibility to find an assisted living facility for someone who has survived a stroke and other medical issues. SUNRISE Plainview was the choice. We started the long journey with the invaluable assistance of Michelle Martinez. Michelle took time to explain every step of the process. She knows well the organizational structure of the facility and has guided us as needed. We are impressed by the way Michelle goes the extra mile. She listens with patience and speaks with kindness, always with a smile in her voice. She is the type of employee who gives a good name to an organization.
The place is cozy and has a family atmosphere. Michelle, the sales director knows her job extremely well. She understands completely the wants and needs of the family of the loved one and makes the transition as simple as can be. She takes the time to talk and get to know the would be resident and the family. She has a warm personality and is a great asset to Sunrise.
Sunrise is one of the most care amazing, assisted livings I have ever worked with. My dad is like family to everyone there. I feel so blessed every day that he is in such amazing place and is so well taken care of every day.
