Wyndham Court of Plano

As a follow-up to my last post, I wanted to thank the family at Wyndham Court of Plano for all the great care they provided to my Mother. Mom just passed a little over a week ago and I got calls from the staff after she passed about how much they loved my Mother and how she made them laugh. Up to the end, the staffs’ care was amazing. I always felt like my mom was happy there and with the staff. I highly recommend this assisted living home. Thank you!!

Several weeks ago, I had the privilege of witnessing a deeply moving moment of grace in action through Adelaide’s care. She was attending to a resident living with dementia and Alzheimer’s who was convinced, that he had not received the medical attention he had requested. In truth, this care had already been given, yet his memory no longer held the reassurance of those moments. Adelaide, with a gentleness that can only flow from a heart anchored in compassion, patiently walked alongside the resident in his confusion. She demonstrated—through calm words, attentive presence, and loving reassurance—that the care had indeed been provided. What stood out was Adelaide’s shielded him from embarrassment and refused to let guilt or shame even touch his spirit. With tender kindness, she helped him arrive at understanding without tearing the fabric of his self-worth. What a comfort it is to know that this company employees wonderful people like Adelaide who daily demonstrates such love and tenderness to resident who are confused.

This place is GREAT! Very well run the people are all friendly and helpful to the residence. I had to place my father in here recently so my wife and I could go out of the country, and he was treated wonderfully while we were gone. I only wish is that I could have him move here for the rest of his days but he too is comfortable living in my house.

Wonderful experience with my Mom at Wyndham Court! The staff is caring and engaged, no matter their job. All of the staff knew my Mom by name within a couple of days. The caregivers are kind, careful, and attentive. The chef and her staff are so intentional and gracious! I know Mom is being served good food, and I look forward to it when I am able to join her for meals. We've been there a month and I'm confident we made the right choice!

Wyndham Court of Plano is an Amazing Senior Community. Warm and inviting when you enter with nicely appointed finishes for a clean and cozy feel. My mother has been here for 4 months and we are so pleased with the care and kindness that this little gem has to offer. Anna and Taylor at the front desk are so friendly and always thoughtful and welcoming. Shannon the Director always has her door open and so gracious with her time if you have any questions or concerns or just to catch up with how things are going. A genuine interest in the families and my mom. This sets the tone for management and the great communication here. Amy was our liason and so thoughtful, caring, helping us with details about Wyndham for us to make our best decision to stay and she helped put my moms room together so nicely. Addie, is a beautiful soul and her detailed wellness approach has helped my mom and I stay on top of her health. She is always willing to help me with anything I need for my mother. So many incredible people work here. From Maintenence, Mel the chef. Servers, and all the Aids/ Helpers that care for my mom and the residents which is so important and they do not go un-noticed by me. To the activity director creats such a fun upbeat engaging vibe with memorable games. Even a snow cone happy hour generates excitement ....this is a great team. My mom has been in many places and if you are at the mercy of others to care for your loved ones. You know a place is only as good as the people that work there. And Wyndham Court is by far the best. The residents here are so precious as I get to know them on my visits and I find their lives so interresting, And it gives me such peace that my mom gets to stay at such a lovely place with people that care and residents that can continue to enrich their lives,make friends, and enjoy their day to day.
