Palms at St. Lucie, West

We visited today and spoke with Jennifer this afternoon about placement of my mother in the Palms. Jennifer was outstanding and made my wife and I feel like part of the family! The place was very clean and everyone had a smile on their face. I think my mom will love the place. Update: My mom moved in on April 1, 2022, and she loves it! She feels like part of the family and is treated that way. Excellent atmosphere, everyone is happy to be there and staff are loving and caring. Always communicating any issues or concerns with me👍 Great place, and never worried about whether mom is taken care of!

This review has been a long time coming. My mother-in-law spent the last few years of her life at the Palms of St. Lucie West and I cannot say enough good things about our experience there. We chose The Palms of SLW for its intimate and cozy (and super clean!) enivironment as well as the care and kindness of its staff. Jennifer and John were so kind, patient and always helpful. The staff on the 2nd floor were so caring, especially Amy and Santie - just amazing! Thank you all for taking such good care of Marie. We so appreciate it!

My mom spent her last few years living at The Palms of St. Lucie West. The staff there put up with her attitudes & silliness! Of course - we would expect patience and kindness when residents have dementia and Alzheimer's, and the staff here did not disappoint. In spite of her mental state, they enjoyed Mom and helped make her final years fun ones. And they treat the family of the residents well, too - making us feel welcome, explaining things, inviting us to events. I still enjoy stopping by just to see my friends there, even after Mom has gone!

My parents lived in the Villas. The apartment was nice and maintenance was mostly efficient. However, the once a week cleaning was basically a joke. My parents had to hire their own service. The food was horrible. Not only the choices and quality, but they ran out of everything! How can that happen when you have a set number of diners? I would not recommend a 5 -Star run facility anywhere.

Jennifer Smith, Sales Director, personally welcomed us to The Palms of St Lucie West. She sat with us and explained what services are offered, and how the community is organized and functions. She walked us through both the independent and assisted living quarters and gathering places. We left with a positive view of their operations, found clean, well maintained buildings, warm and caring feelings of the staff and residents with whom we interacted.
