Lassen House Senior Living

Although our parents were only there for a short time, we were so impressed by the staff and they way they took care of their residents. They gave our parents the best care possible and were kind and caring. I know Mom and Dad loved all the staff, as they told us many times. Going through the facility when visiting, we were always greeted and really enjoyed seeing the residents enjoying the daily activities! This is the best place for your loved ones who need that extra care.

My step father was a resident at Lassen House for almost two years before he passed away in December. He felt at home there. The Lassen House team always showed loving kindness in their care and support of my stepfather, and were always helpful to his family. Their dedication and professionalism in how they care for residents who need assistance is impressive. Thank you for being such a wonderful organization with a focus on residents so that they had opportunities to be socially active at Lassen and connected to the local community. I’m so happy my step father had the opportunity to live there. Thank you.

We have had two of our parents here, different years. First my husbands mom back in 2018. His dad had passed away and she was on her own so it was decided to move her to Lassen House (aka Brookdale at the time). She loved it here and the peace of mind was invaluable. Now we have had to put my mom in an assisted living facility. I have nothing but praise and empathy for those that work here. They attend to my mom like she was their own. Having staff there 24 hours a day is a relief for the family that can't be there. We really appreciate the care received here, the family is grateful.

My Mom has been at this facility for months. They are always very friendly & attentive. The food is great and the chef even came and met my Mom and asked her what she liked, awesome. The nursing staff has been very polite attentive. Facility always is very clean & well kept. They have great activities throughout the week. I highly recommend this facility if you have a parent or family member in need of assistance.

Staff is rude and uneducated. The Enrichment Coordinator claiming to also be a med tech and assistant ED who was extremely rude and gave nothing but attitude during our conversationand still middered to herself while she walked away. This HIGHLY unprofessional behavior and could not provide proof of injury to a resident claiming there was documentation and it was in her chart when Family asked why they where never notifified she said they where but could not provide a date or time when asked to see it by family. We where notified of this incident. They said an X-ray was done but again no documentation to show proff to family. No supervisor or any M.O.D on duty leaving staff in supervised just like the many residents in the common area of the Memory Care unit. This place has gotten worse ove the years I donot recommend placing your loved ones here.
