Brookdale Salina Fairdale

Brookdale has been by mother’s residence for the past 6 months. Although she misses her home, she feels very content in her new little suite. Most important, she sleeps well at night and feels very safe. She tells me the food is really good (homemade) and everyone is very nice and friendly. I know she is OK when she says “I have a wonderful little apartment with everything I need”. I feel any senior facility is only as good as the staff and I would give the Brookdale, Fairdale, staff and excellent rating in every category. They are caring and compassionate, the residents are treated with respect and they operate with efficiency in their daily routines. They have developed a personal relationship with my mother and our family members, which makes our visits so enjoyable. Walking through the halls, there is always a friendly greeting with a smile. This is a beautiful facility and always clean. I would recommend Brookdale, Fairdale, to anyone considering assisted living for their family member. Thank you for all you do everyday. Joan Huston

Brookdale Fairdale is a beautiful senior living facility. Beautiful in how it is operated, how it looks, how it feels...in every way. The staff is lovely: friendly to everyone. You can tell that the residents love the staff by the interactions that I've observed for 6 years. It is well run by an efficient and engaging director. The nurses do a fabulous job of caring for their clients. The staff is stable with very little turnover. The facility has the feel of a lovely private home. It is clean as can be, beautifully decorated. It runs smoothly with the feel of being someone's personal home.

My mother has been a resident of Brookdale Salina Fairdale for 5 years. She loves living there and we love the care she receives there! The aides and staff are so thoughtful and attentive. There are always fun daily activities, for those that wish to join in. Otherwise there are quiet areas where one can read, play cards or enjoy the courtyard! She recently celebrated her 100th Birthday and the staff was very helpful with our preparations. It’s definitely a family community!

We recently moved my mother-in-law into this facility and needed very quick service. Our experience with the staff in getting her moved in quickly was phenemenonal and we were able to do it in two days from the date of first contacting them. Our family member is very happy with the care received as we are and states the meals are great (all home cooked). I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking for an assisted living facility.

I have watched the staff working with the residents and they show so much care and compassion with each individual person. It is obvious to me that the staff develop a personal caring relationship with the people they work with. They always go above and beyond. I have observed patience; and the staff encourage the person that they are working with that there is no hurry to complete the cares that are being provided. This makes a person feel valued and not just another person. This creates an environment of compassion as well as safety. They make sure that everyone knows that when they are working with an individual it is all about them and what their needs are and what they can do to help. The teamwork is amazing and everyone truly cares about each and every individual person in that building whether it comes to the people that live there, the people that come to visit.
