Whitby Pointe

Very impressed with the quality of care and attention the residents receive. We recently moved my mother to this location and although she is having difficulty adapting to her new situation, the administration and entire staff have been extremely helpful in easing this transition for her. The administration and staff, from the attendants, custodians, cooks, nurses, office staff to the executive director, all are available and very willing to respond to any questions or requests. We are hopeful that with the special care and attention my mother has received she will adapt to her new home and we look forward to a successful and continuing relationship with Brookdale.

I just spent a wonderful couple of hours touring the center with Glenda Spears. Glenda and the staff were delightful. The entire staff obviously enjoyed working here, and it was evident they care for their seniors. We had a great tour and delicious lunch. They made it all so welcoming and warm, and I want to thank her/them for the experience.

The staff is the most professional and caring. The staff truly loves interacting with the residents and makes them feel valuable. i love visiting not only my family member but other residents as well. I feel that the residents are my family, too. Thank you, Brookdale Medical Center Whitby! Aloha! Brookdale Whitby hosted a Hawaiian aloha event for residents and families July 24, 2019. There was limbo, bubble blowing to "Tiny Bubbles", a delicious Hawaiian meal, Hawaiian DJ, lots of grass skirts, leis, and decorations. Fun, fun, fun! Aloha!

The staff is amazing. They are so friendly and super kind. I am currently looking for a wonderful environment for my aging mother. When the day comes that she will need more care then I can provide Brookdale Whitby will be at the top of our list. God bless you all.

My mom has been living at Whitby for a year and although she was against a nursing home, she loves her place a Whitby. Assisted living gives her the independence she wants while getting the help she needs. We are very pleased with the great team of attendants, nurse, office personnel and cook. Living in community with other people her age has been great for our mom.
