Alternative Senior Care

Both of my parents were being discharged from a skilled nursing facility within a few days of each other about four months ago and we selected Alternative Senior Care. My dad needed full-time care and my mom shortly after arrival required the same. Rachel (the owner) and her caregivers provided quality individualized care specific to each of their needs. Rachel was always very responsive to any questions that I had and she kept me informed of any issues regarding my parents. The caring and comfortable environment helped give me a peace of mind knowing that my parents were well cared for.

Rachel and her late husband took exceptional care of my Mother for 7 months through the good and bad and sad times . The home is beautiful , spacious and extremely clean! Their CNAs and their help were always very caring and competent! I never had to worry about my Mom. With our Hospice and Rachel’s support she was always taken excellent care of !! We looked at several private homes and none of them could measure up to Alternative Senior Care. THANK YOU RACHEL !!

When my mother went on hospice we were referred to a couple of personal care homes. After visiting a few, we picked Alternative Senior Care. Mom was well cared for in cleanliness, diet and medication - all her needs were well managed with compassion and sincere affection. Flavius was very responsive to all questions and requests and kept us informed at all times. He is a loving and compassionate caregiver and I highly recommend his care center for seniors.

My mom was only at Alternative Senior Care for about 6 months, but she was happy there. Flavius is one of the most caring humans I’ve met and this comes across in how he treats the residents. Mom didn’t like many people and she repeatedly told me about “how nice these people are here”. The home is accessible for people with mobility issues, it is clean (as are the residents!), and communication is incredible. They work really well with the medical experts and have the residents’ best interest at the core of every decision. I felt comfortable leaving my mom there for care. I truly hope as Flavius gets older that has someone to take as good care of him as he does others. I cannot recommend ASC enough.

Amazing personal care individualized to the patient. My uncle has been there over a year. My uncle was type 2 diabetic when he went in. He took insulin using a sliding scale and was not able to self administer or calculate. They were so good about his medication administration and diet control with food he liked that his A1C went down from 8.5% to 6.4%. He no longer needs insulin injections. Highly recommend this establishment. We've been through 4 other places prior to here. Alternative Senior Living has higher quality one on one care. Other places we were always faced with not having enough staff.
