Atria La Jolla is a great senior living community in the heart of La Jolla. The location is perfect, with lots of things to do nearby. One of the highlights of Atria La Jolla is Karinna, the Executive Director. She is always kind, friendly, and incredibly professional with both residents and staff. Her leadership really sets the tone for the warm and welcoming environment here. All the residents seem happy, and the staff is helpful and polite. It's a warm, welcoming place. I would definitely recommend Atria La Jolla to anyone looking for a safe and friendly home for their loved one.
This is a great community with a peaceful, friendly and positive clean environment. It is like a resort. I brought my granddaughter to visit and she told me when l’m older l want to live in this place! I want you to know the staff members work so hard with a friendly and respectful attitude. I will also like to express the professionalism of the Atria Director Karina she is also compassionate understanding person.
My now 91 year old mother has been living at Atria La Jolla for almost 5 years now as of 2025. She enjoys the surroundings and the building is always kept clean and neat. There are a lot of ongoing activities inside and they have outings to casinos, the flower fields, shopping malls and more. They have their own bistro with breakfast, lunch and dinner with several time slots for each meal. There are several choices for dinner which the chef has prepared, or if neither are them are of your liking, you can order off the standard menu. Hot and cold sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, salads and more. The staff there is amazing! Everybody calls my mother by name and some of them have little pet name for her. - She really enjoys it - Some of the activities are movies almost every night, card games, bingo, swimming, there is a piano in the atrium and they will have local talent come in and entertain on Friday night, Saturday, or Saturday evening. Or one of the tenants my play and get a group sing along. The maintenance staff is pretty much on button when you need something repaired. You're not going to be able to please everybody all the time which is why you may see a few bad reviews, but all in all, I have to say that Atria La Jolla is top notch! The executive director, Karina, makes everybody feel welcome and makes sure they are happy, comfortable, and she is always looking for new suggestions of activities for the residents. Take a tour and you'll see what I mean.
The Atria La Jolla is a beautifully maintained community, offering a peaceful and welcoming environment that feels like home. Every time I visit, from the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and kindness from the staff and residents. Carrie, the Community Director, is a class act and truly welcoming with open arms. She is a pleasure to be around and a joy to work with, we look forward to continued collaboration.
My Aunt & I took a tour, provided by Carrie, and it was a really awesome experience. Carrie was extremely welcoming and so friendly. She knew and introduced us to many residents, staff, including maintenance, food service, house keeping and executive staff. The facility is immaculate, well decorated and designed. We were invited to have lunch and let me say it was delicious. The staff were so friendly and efficient. The residents were also very warm and inviting. All and all, this was an amazing experience. Thanks Carrie. Job well done.
