In my opinion, it is one of the best affordable assisted living facility in San Diego. Over the years, I've had many clients residing at Golden Living of Point Loma. The staff do an amazing job providing care and keeping the building clean. Their budget is very small in comparison to other local facilities but the quality of care does not suffer. Meals are not fancy....they are nutritious and, balanced much like meals-on-wheels. Rooms are spacious and I only have to ask once for maintenance to repair an item. A perk, for clients who are ambulatory is the fact that many shops are short walking distance.
My name is Judy Griffin I live at the Golden Living facility in San Diego basically it’s an OK place but the staff can be inconsiderate rude and downright threatening! I’ve had problems with the night staff about being loud and considerate of the residence. I get woke up in the evening because of the staff being loud! I have brought this to the attention of Adminastration for the last two years and it is still not been resolved. So if you’re considering bringing your loved one here I would reconsider. Pictures in the website are not reflecting the real place! This place is an absolutely terrible lost of control place barely for human! Furnitures in antique markets are even newer and better! It’s an abandoned house everything broke and disorganized! They looked like short of staff badly!
Clean facility and noted some of the most caring people working here. They communicate well and are kind to their residents, encouraging them to participate in activities!! Very sweet staff 💞
