GRACE ADULT DAY HEALTH CARE CENTER

My mom attends the Grace adult day care center and we're very satisfied with their services. They have a variety of engaging activities that keep her entertained and happy. The staff are very kind, caring, and professional, creating a friendly and secure environment. Additionally, their daily transportation services have made things much easier for us. We're truly grateful for this center.

Grace Adult Care Center has been an incredible place for my grandma for over 20 years. She absolutely loves it, and it’s easy to see why—the staff are always friendly, caring, and attentive to everyone’s needs. Every morning, she looks forward to going, meeting her friends, and spending time with the wonderful staff. The center offers a variety of activities, from exercises to English classes, and they always make sure everyone is well taken care of, providing breakfast and lunch daily. The owners are personally involved and make an effort to connect with everyone, which adds a special touch to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. They also organize fun programs with music and dance, making every day enjoyable. During COVID, when the center had to close, they went above and beyond by organizing Zoom meetings to keep everyone connected and even delivered food, masks, and COVID tests to ensure their well-being. Grace is truly a second home for my grandma, and I’m so grateful for the care, kindness, and community they provide. I highly recommend this center to anyone looking for a compassionate and engaging place for their loved ones! There was some time when they were closed during COVID that my grandma was antsy to get back and was excited when they re-opened. Truly very happy with this place and I see the joy it brings my grandma to be around others and the amazing team there.

My uncle has been attending Grace Adult Day Care for about at 1 year and a 1/2. He has a place to attend to keep his mind active. The staff has been exceptional overall. They provide them actives breakfast, snack and lunch . Their hours are 730-230. They do a sliding scale or medi cal will cover a daily rate for your loved one They have buses that will pick up individual In the map range or reimburse a VTA pick up and return once a month. I wish they were open an hour longer but that’s ok

My experience with Grace adult day health care center has been the best caring, loving and nurturing day care center of all that I researched. my mother is very difficult and they were able to handle all of her issues and send her home with a smile everyday which in turn created a big smile on my face. I'm impressed with how well thier staff take care of Alzheimer's, dementia, and other sensitive health conditions with such ease which gave me peace of mind.. I highly recommend them to any who are ready to stop looking and find a good home for their aging loved ones.

Shortly after my mother had a stroke in 2014, research into the options for quality elderly assistance in the Bay Area and revealed that Grace Center was the best option. Grace Adult Day Health Care’s welcoming, multidisciplinary, and culturally sensitive environment has benefited Mom’s mental and physical wellbeing for the past four years. Every morning when I drop Mom at the Grace Center, I have noticed the center's staff greet each arriving elder with respect and sincerity. They chat with them and hold their hand or arm gently to lead them to their table. Each time I push Mom past the front desk, Mom is welcomed no matter how busy the staff is. With a bright smile, staff wave to both of us. Mom returns a big smile and a high five. Observing those dynamic interactions, I have a warm feeling and feel very comfortable leaving Mom there for few hours. Grace Center’s multidisciplinary approach under one roof is greatly beneficial to Mom. Taught by physical therapy, Mom learned how to use the walker correctly and to strengthen the weak side of her body. Nurses keep each careful attention to Mom’s medical status, vital signs and weight and can pull records to precisely answer our concerns. Staff provide excellent toileting/hygiene assistance for not making Mom feel embarrassed. The nutritionist and kitchen staff have done an excellent job to tailor meals to individual health needs and cultural tastes. The social worker is attentive to mom’s family situation. Great leadership founded on a spirit of humanity permeates the center. Needless to say the entire team deserves great applause. Grace center has provided a special Birthday celebration for each attendant on their 100 year old birthday. My mom reached the milestone in November. She was happily surprised by the event that was well organized and impressively integrated with traditional culture and foods for Mom to enjoy her special day. This special event further demonstrates the conscientiousness of the staff in Grace. It was a heartwarming event. Simply referred to as “school” as I mentioned to mom each day, Grace Center is a special place that my mom looks forward to going to. It provides healthful routine, welcoming and diverse community, and multidisciplinary and culturally sensitive care. Bottom of line is that the people here sincerely care for the individuals, stemming from great leadership and carried forward by each staff. Thank you!
