Adom Manor Care Home

I’m very grateful for the care my mom receives at Adom Manor. She is living with dementia, and Eva and the caregivers give her such kind, attentive support every day. The home is always clean and welcoming, and there’s a real sense of community. I love that the residents gather around the table for meals. Eva’s prior experience in skilled nursing facilities shows in the thoughtful way she guides and supports families.

I am so grateful to have found Adom Manor Care home for my 87 year old father. To be honest, I didn’t even know places like Adom Manor care home existed. I checked out the large assisted living facilities like Aegis Living and they just didn’t seem like a good fit for my father. I wanted something much more personal and caring. Eva and her staff at Adom Manor care home are highly professional, attentive, and truly care about the elderly folks that live there. They cook, high-quality nutritious food for their six residents, attend to all their daily needs, take them on walks and outings, and take them to any doctors appointments. I am so Appreciative of all that they do. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

When my mom and I first visited Adom Manor and met Eva, we felt like we were in the right place. A garden full of roses in bloom and a light-filled home welcomed us. I live about an hour south of Santa Rosa, and I needed to know my mom was in a safe place with experienced caregivers. Eva's warmth, competence, and confidence in her staff put me at ease right away. Eva is skilled in geriatric care from her years of experience in the field, and between my visits we communicated often about how my mom was doing physically and emotionally. She dealt with my mom's health-related issues expertly over her 2 1/2 years at Adom Manor, as my mom became increasingly dependent on the caregivers' help. I'm so grateful for Patty, Yancy, Maria... everyone at Adom Manor who treated my mom with the kindness and respect of a family member. Eva and her staff were endlessly patient and gracious not only with my mom, but with me, my siblings, and other family friends who visited Adom Manor. Besides providing an embracing environment and delicious/nutritious meals for the residents and guests, Eva provided much emotional support for me as my mom’s health declined, eventually ending with in-home hospice care. I trusted Eva with every aspect of my mom’s care, and feel lucky to have her friendship.

Moving my mom from a large facility into Adom Manor is the best decision we could have made for her. Within a week my mom was looking healthier than she'd looked in a year. Eva and her caregivers are kind and so very patient. The meals always smell and look delicious. My mom enjoys the musicians that come in, and she likes sitting in the beautiful backyard when the weather is nice. Living two hours away, it is important to be able to trust the people handling her day to day care. I trust everyone at Adom Manor with my mom's care and I don't worry about her all day every day like I did when she was at the previous facility. Eva is a fantastic partner to the family in caring for my mom. She notifies us immediately about anything we need to know, whether it's a minor health issue, or if she's having a bad or sad day and could use some phone calls. Eva provides very clear and complete information to share with my mom's doctor, when needed. It is difficult to express how much I appreciate the Adom Manor Team for all they do for my mom, especially Eva!

My husband lived at Adom Manor for the last year of his life, when he needed more care than could be managed at home. The care at Adom Manor is excellent as well as warm and loving. The owner, Eva Kirikiri, is on top of everything at all times and in touch with family members regularly, especially when their loved one has an issue or the family member has a question or concern. Although she does not live there, she is present every day and often takes the overnight shift. The residents can spend time outside on the front or back deck, when the weather permits, and sometimes enjoy excursions by car. Meals and snacks are scheduled, tasty, and healthy, mostly made with organic ingredients. Residents who are physically able can dine communally at the shared table, a good, regular chance to gather through the day. I visited my husband there every day and became one of the family so to speak. We were able to take outings and friends and relatives were welcome to visit. I highly recommend Adom Manor as a very caring, comfortable, and homey place for someone to move their loved one. My children and I feel extremely lucky to have found such an excellent small care home for my husband.
