Watercrest Sarasota

My father moved into Watercrest in January this year. He says the food is great and everyone living at Watercrest has been very welcoming and friendly. It's a beautiful facility with nice sized and appointed apartments and a number of amenities. Despite challenges with staffing and management (which isn't unusual these days), I have to say any questions or issues he or I have had since he arrived have been addressed promptly and thoroughly. Lauren particularly is amazing at keeping everyone in independent living informed on what is happening around the community. We are very thankful for her!

My mother has lived in independent living at Watercrest (Sarasota) for 6 months and she is very happy! If I had written this review in the first couple of months, it would not have been as positive, but things have improved dramatically. I have to attribute these positive changes to the direction of Lauren, who is an absolute dynamo! She organizes wonderful activities and events and if you express a concern, she is on it right away. Watercrest is aesthetically beautiful, it feels safe, and the activities are great. The food could perhaps improve a tad, but I think they're continually working on that. Also, the staff makes the extended family feel like family there. I'm always welcome to join my mother in activities, which is really nice!

My wife Linda and I moved into Watercrest Sarasota Independent Living a month ago. It has been a wonderful experience. The facilities are outstanding, the food is excellent and the staff is very accommodating. Our Independent Living director Lauren Adams is incredible. She repeatedly went out of her way to make our transition to Watercrest a joyful experience.

I absolutely love living here! It's the best move we've ever made! The people and all the activities are terrific! And having our meals prepared and our apartment cleaned weekly allows time for us to enjoy all the fun here! My husband enjoys playing corn hole twice a week and we both love the water aerobics three times a week! That's just the beginning, there's so much more! Every Thursday is Happy Hour with live entertainment and free drinks! Oh yes, this place is like living on a cruise ship! No wonder I love it here!❤

I have been looking at assisted living places for a family member to move that shows compassion and understands our needs. I toured with Lauren Adams and she was nothing but kind and really knew the facility well. She made me feel welcomed and understood. Watercrest Sarasota really is a beautiful community.
