Brightview Sayville

My mom has been at The Bristol for three years. Staff there is like family to my mom and to me Lisa and her team in wellness are extremely nice to work with to get what’s best for the residents at the facility. Admission staff, Carolyn, Patti, Emily, Denise and Karen are very helpful. Pedro who runs the kitchen is wonderful and treats my mom like his own. The desk staff, Geri, Marjorie, Kim, etc., are amazing. Anytime I need help. They are very accommodating to residents needs. Carol A Seitz

We ended up going with Brightview in Port Jefferson for Mom, due to location, but wanted to express our positive impressions of the team and facilities at Brightview Sayville. I don't think you can go wrong with these folks. Amy at Brightview Sayville was extremely caring and helpful throughout the process of considering what my mother is going to need and how best to fulfill those needs. The accommodations and services at this very new facility seem top notch and should be a "must see" for anyone considering a place where their loved ones can age with dignity and grace.

This is truly an experienced I had not anticipated. The entire staff from the Concierge to the maintenance staff is professional, beyond courteous and helpful. There are many activities scheduled throughout the day, to choose to participate or not is totally up to the resident. Did I mention it is a dog friendly facility? Well it is! I enjoy dinner each night with my “sorority sisters” (my daughter named them)… the menu is very extensive and delicious. Come over and take a guided tour with Gail, you will be more than pleased. As welcoming as the office staff (Gail and Franny( is when you come to visit is how they are all the time.

This facility is very new and the aesthetics and food quality are excellent here. The care for my father, who was mobility impaired, was subpar and there was significant staff turnover/callouts that led to my father sometimes not being helped for long periods of time. Perhaps the facility is still getting the staffing level correct, but the staffing level does not seem to be at the level for some patients to get the care they need, especially for an enhanced license care facility.
