Sunrise at Wood Ranch

I took my mom to see Ivy Park at Wood Ranch. She enjoyed meeting the staff and enjoyed a wonderful meal. The facility is very clean and the grounds looks like a resort. The size of the one bedroom is a lovely space that she can see herself in. She is looking forward to the possibility of making new friends.

I’m in the Health Services field for seniors and the attention that Ivy Park Wood Ranch gives to their residents is truly amazing! When I see the staff interacting with the residents, it’s always on such a pleasant and happy level. I also want to give a special shout out not only to their Executive Director Kellie, but also to the Sales and Marketing team, Samantha and Salma. The three of them do such an amazing job. If you’re considering a senior community in Simi Valley or the surrounding area, you have to visit this beautiful community.

The Ivy Park Wood Ranch team is truly outstanding! From the moment you walk through the doors and are warmly welcomed by the caring staff, you know this Assisted Living and Memory Care community is exceptional. Under Kellie Smith’s dedicated leadership, your loved one will receive not only high-quality care but also the compassion and connection needed to thrive. Kellie leads with purpose, deeply rooted in the “why” behind her work—creating a place where residents are supported, valued, and able to live their best lives.

My mom moved into Sunrise a few months ago and I am just so impressed by both the management and the caregivers. Each one is so caring, professional and respectful. They are wonderful at responding quickly to me with the (many!) emails I have sent them. This last week they had a Casino Night to celebrate Sunrise's 40th anniversary and they invited both residents and their families. It was SO much fun. Great food, wonderful decorations and the dealers at each of the tables (blackjack, craps and roulette) were just great! Sunrise does so much to keep their residents engaged and active, and in addition, throw great parties!

I recently came into the building to take a tour with Samantha. The residents immediately welcomed me and began asking me questions about myself which felt so warm and inviting. The bistro area was well stocked and entertainment was setting up when I arrived. A lot of residents had come out to participate. Once we got to the rooms I was impressed. They have very spacious; clean rooms that I would certainly refer to any senior I know. Samantha is also a delight.
