Ponderosa Lodge Senior Living

We had such a great experience at Ponderosa Lodge. Friends were so complimentary off my mom's room. The staff was great and would stop in often to visit with mom. As mom's disability progressed the staff checked in more often. The management team went out of their way to check in and greet us. The chef would even check in if my mom might have ordered something that would be hard for her to swallow. I won't mention anyone specifically because I don't want to leave anyone out. Top notch caregiving all. Thank you.

Tina, Kristi, and all the staff are concerned about the welfare of each and every resident. They create a friendly nurturing environment for all. Very clean facility. Hint: never miss evening with chef. Chef Omar produces incredible meals. Really struts his culinary stuff. Highly recommend the Ponderosa. Wonderful place with many activity.

For the last year, Ponderosa has focused on improvement and has hit each step of the process. Somethings come and go but focused of moving forward and upward is and has been the number one priority. A small front office means there are a lot responsibilities for each person at leadership position but they are backed by a corporation that strives on improvements and works hard to give facility what it needs for ALL of its residents. But when you look at the bigger picture you can see a beautiful facility and catering, passionate workers who truly care for residents in their care.

It is a community, not a "facility". It is a family, and that says a lot when you more help and direct employees. My mother hated to leave her home community and church, but the transition has been so gracious and warm for her. The care is excellent and as mom's most caring family, we couldn't be more assured of her happiness. Thank you Ponderosa.

Ponderosa Lodge is a wonderful place for residents and employees. The staff CARE about the residents. They provide great food and activities for the residents. Management cares about and appreciates staff. Staff are very friendly and work together.
