Sunrise Assisted Living of Stamford

The benchmark Senior Living community has been a wonderful home for our grandmother. The community has so much to offer to keep the residents engaged and involved . The staff are friendly, responsive to needs, and go above and beyond to ensure residents are comfortable. The facility itself is clean and well maintained and we are comfortable knowing that our grandmother is being well cared for each day.

Julia and the staff at Benchmark Stanford are the best. They foster a warm and caring community that enables my mom to live life to her fullest potential. My mom has resided at Benchmark for over a year and I feel grateful that she is part of such a wonderful environment, full of friends and activities, where all her needs are met and she can truly thrive! Thank you Julia and staff for all you do everyday to make Benchmark Stamford such a special place!

My mother is thriving & happy at Benchmark. My siblings & myself are thrilled that we can rest assured that Mom is kept safe & sound. When we visit we truly enjoy a nurturing family style environment. Thank you Benchmark!

During the 4 months my mother was in Memory Care at Sunrise, she was well cared for and treated with respect. The team is very kind and compassionate and the residents are all lovely. Sunrise of Stamford is a small, homey environment and we enjoyed moms time there more than the high rise facility down the street, which turned out not to be a good fit for my mother. If you are looking for a small facility with caring people, this is the place. If you want new and shiny, this is not it. I only wish I had moved my mother here 18 months ago when she first went into Assisted Living. 😢

Terrible. Did not provide what was promised. In fact, they allowed my loved one to take a fall and waited several hours before transporting them to the hospital. They also pulled a “bait and switch” on us, giving us one price and increasing the cost demanding that we contract private care within the facility before allowing our loved one back. Beautiful on the outside but buyer be aware. They duped us.
