Founded in 1965, Rowntree Gardens — a Quaker Gardens senior living community — is one of the area’s few licensed, faith-based Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRC) that provides a full range of integrated onsite services to meet the changing needs of people as they age. Rowntree Gardens operates as a not-for-profit community, which means our only responsibility is to our community members and their families — not to shareholders. As a not-for-profit community, we are focused on providing the highest quality of compassionate care — not on growing our profits. Any profits we do make are reinvested into improving our community and the services we offer. We call it our continuum of care, and it ensures that you and your loved one continue to have convenient and affordable access to the full range of services that promote physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing throughout all the seasons of life. Available within one welcoming, compassionate community, these complete services include Acacia Independent Living, The Cedars Assisted Living, access to our Elmwood Care Center offering short- and long-term skilled nursing and our New Leaf Agency therapy services, as well as Gardens Memory Care.
