Lynette the lady that runs this is the epitome of a power trip. She needs all the attention when you visit your loved one or she will ban you from ever seeing them again. I wouldn’t keep my dog here and feel good about it. The feed the residents top ramen everyday. I have first hand seen abuse and verbal abuse happen. I have turned it all over to Adult Protective Services and hired a lawyer to free my mom. If you need any advice as to why not to put someone you love here, please contact me. I am hoping to have the place shut down soon

Don't beleive the other review from Ms Wick. My mother-in-law spent a few years living here and Lynette did an amazing job with her and her staff, and made the final years of my mother-in-law's life very good. They did an awesome job taking care of her from beginning to end, and they're definitely good people. It's amazing to me how 1 person can go and post some crazy review like that And try to destroy another person's business who does such a good job for people and their families. She always bent over backwards to make sure everything was taken care of for my mother-in-law and always worked with my wife on things and was very cooperative. Even after my mother-in-law's death, and going through hospice Lynette has stayed in touch with my wife off and on. They truly care.

As the power of attorney for my wife who is a resident at Golden Age Adult Family Home, I wish to comment on this home where she's been a resident of 1.5 years. Lynette the owner/operator/caregiver, gives outstanding care and direction to her caregivers who are under her employment. Everyone is respective of each other and they provide a loving atmosphere. My wife enjoys all the residents and caregivers. I visit my wife 3 days a week and there's never been any physical or verbal abuse to any of the residents, at any time.

Don't believe the comment left by Jennifer Wick. Jennifer is my niece and because of negative actions towards her mother who is a patient in the home, and rude behavior to the owner and other female patients, the State Ombudsman was involved and Jennifer is no longer allowed to visit her mother on the property. Jennifer must schedule a visit with her mom off-site. The pictures Jennifer posted were after a long, wet Spring while the home owner and her husband were working in the yard. The stove stopped working and was picked up by an appliance recycler within a few days. I helped Jennifer's mother/my sister-in-law and my brother locate and move my sister-in-law into the home 1.5 years ago. My sister-in-law and brother (who visits my sister-in-law 4 days a week) are happy with the care she receives. My sister-in-law enjoys the daily living and social activities with the other residents and the caregivers. The owner provides a safe and caring environment for her 4 residents. My sister-in-law LOVES ramen btw!

My mom stayed here for several years until she passed away. My mom loved this place to her this was home. She loved the owner and all the caregivers that work. To her they were like family. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone that is looking for a place to stay for their love ones or themselves.
