Summerfield Estates

Shelley was a joy to work with in my tour. She was a good listener, upbeat, and she gave me a very thorough experience with my tour. I am excited for my Sister to live here for her vacation for the short time she is here in Oregon. The facility is beautiful and cheerful.

This retirement center does not produce healthy nutritional foods. The servers are completely inadequate, there's no management backup and the food is improperly handled.This is a horrible facility! Do not put your elderly loved ones here!

What a wonderful establishment! Warm and inviting- friendly. Truly impressed with the professional demeanor of the staff. Haylee was extremely cordial and kind. She planned a very festive Valentines Day event that brought the Summerfield residents together for a creative writing workshop. Servers Taylor and Teri were most accommodating and made me feel right at home, attending to all my needs. The community is clean and well managed. And all the residents are so friendly and welcoming. I look forward to attending future events.

The dining area needs a lot of work. Each time we came in for a meal we had to sit down at a dirty table. The staff would remove only the dirty dishes and leave what looked clean(water glasses, utensils, plates) which made me uncomfortable. It bothered me enough to contact the health department. This place had Covid throughout the facility a couple times in one year and I can see why. This place is poorly managed. They weren’t efficient, clean and they were constantly short staffed which shouldn’t be our problem for the amount of money we pay each month to live here.

This place is a disgusting and understaffed joke. Their housekeeping team loves to state that the resident refuses to let them throw stuff away to the point where 5 rotten bananas and 6 bags of potato chips was thrown away when we moved my FIL out. We found mold around his bed and moths crawling all over things. Housekeeping either doesn't clean or they are so short staffed that they don't care. Regardless, I'm glad my FIL will not live in this overpriced garbage dump any longer. I would highly recommend you stay far away from this place.
