Heatherdowns Rehab & Residential Care Center

I am grateful to the staff for the excellent care I received when I was here. Food was great. Therapy was good and helped me to advance. The staff were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend this facility to anyone who needs therapeutic care.

I can’t say enough about the outstanding care my father received during his time at Heatherdowns Nursing and Rehab. From the moment he arrived, the entire staff made him — and our family — feel welcomed, supported, and truly cared for. Every nurse, therapist, and staff member treated him with the utmost compassion, respect, and professionalism. The nursing team was attentive and always available to answer our questions and keep us informed of his progress. They took the time to get to know him personally, which made a tremendous difference in his comfort and well-being. The rehab staff was equally incredible — patient, encouraging, and committed to helping him regain his strength and independence. What stood out the most was the genuine warmth that filled the facility. It never felt clinical or cold. Instead, it felt like a community of caregivers who were truly invested in my father’s health and happiness. The facility itself was clean, well-maintained, and inviting. I am incredibly grateful for the care he received and the peace of mind it gave our family. Heatherdowns Nursing and Rehab is a shining example of what compassionate, quality care should look like. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional nursing and rehabilitation services.

If there were -5 stars, that's what I would rate them. They put my husband in a small bed, the wheel chair was small and had no foot rest and looked to be about 30 years old. He had Parkinsons and was sometimes incoherent and needed help walking. I left him in front of the nurses station in the wheelchair so he could be watched. Apparently that did not happen. He tried to get up and fell and hurt his hip and his head. No one called me, they just put him back in the chair. He was in a lot of pain when I got there the next day and they finally did an x-ray, he screamed in agony and they told me it was negative but I told them to send him to the hospital. His upper femur was broken and he had to have surgery. I received a statement from his insurance and the reason given for the ambulance ride was chest pain!! He had never complained of chest pain. They are just trying to cover up what happened to him.

My father was in the hospital and I had list of choices to place him for his recovery, after meeting reps in the hospital I decided to try out Heatherdowns. From the hospital to him being admitted at the nursing rehab I can't say enough how everyone has been so helpful. My father wouldn't have ever gotten home if it wasn't for Heatherdowns, I highly recommend them.

Wonderful facility! Nursing & Therapy Department very knowledgeable and dedicated. Would recommend this facility to anyone needing a SNF.
