SPRING SENIOR ASSISTED LIVING

"They have about 120 people living there. In the evenings there is 2 caregiver at night, one upstairs one downstairs, unless it's changed since my dad stayed there for a few years. Personally the people were great and the administrator was wonderful. They have now been taken over by a corporation and things have gotten very bad. They fired all the staff and hired new people. The food is not fit for an animal. I made my dad dinner every night so he would get something nutritious. The elevator only holds two people at a time very very tightly. So if you live on the second floor it will suck. My dad had the biggest room on the second floor. Apparently years ago, since it's almost right next door to Little company of Mary hospital, it was used for a housing facility for the nuns that worked at the hospital. The rent isn't bad, and they do give you an alert to hang around your loved ones neck. But the problem is they don't have enough people working there, so if a loved one fell or worse and they rang the bell around their neck, it would still take up to 30 minutes for them to get to the room. I'm just letting you know the way it was before, and I know almost positively that it has gotten worse. Linda hiles was the administrator. Before they fired the entire staff. She did more for that place than anyone could ever imagine. And they ruined everything when the other company took over. My dad was semi happy there, but just be prepared for not enough people to help, and if you want to go to lunch downstairs, try to get to the elevator early. And their idea of tortilla soup, which to"
