My mother was deteriorating rapidly; she had recently been placed in Hospice and the care center she was in wanted her out; a big corporation center just out to make money, not caring at all. I spoke to a social worker at the hospice and he recommended Sedona Garden Assisted Living. I visited and immediately felt that this was mom’s new home. They were very personable and caring. Gave special attention to mom, it was like an extended family. Krystal was very nice and showed she cared. The food was all home cooking and mom loved it. At the Corporate home, mom always smelled like urine, like they never cleaned her. At Sedona Garden, I never smelled urine or any other unpleasant orders, totally clean. Mom lived out the rest of her life there very happy and great conditions. I highly recommend Sedona Garden, it’s like family.
I highly recommend Sedona Garden Assisted Living. The owner Krystal, along with the staff at SGA are super nice and friendly. They treat all their residents as family. They take really good care of their needs as well as keeping the families in the loop of their care. What I really like is the specialized care that takes place by having their own cook on site to meet residents nutrition needs as well as the plan of care each resident has. Krystal is always available to speak to the family and also available to answer questions if you're interested in having your loved one be part of this wonderful community. Definitely check Sedona Garden Assisted Living.
I am continually impressed every time I go to Sedona Garden to visit my brother-in-law. Everyone who works there is kind, compassionate and very friendly. The facility is, without exception, very clean, orderly and smells great. The atmosphere is family oriented and comforting for both residents and their visitors. My brother-in-law's room is clean, his bed is always made and he is clearly receiving exceptional personal care. As a patient with Alzheimer's, he can be a challenge to work with and the staff is patient and respectful to him always. If you have a family member in need of an assisted living arrangement, I highly recommend Sedona Garden Assisted Living.
Everyone is friendly and helpful! The patients I have worked with are comfortable. I got to witness the staff running to meet their needs. It’s a woman owned business and you can definitely see the nurturing and love she puts in every home she runs. I would feel at ease knowing my family members are cared for here. Plus it’s surrounded by beautiful citrus trees, just feels so peaceful!
You cannot find a better place for your loved one to live, especially if someone is difficult to care for. The first thing the owner Krystal said to me was “Oh don’t worry. We are not intimidated by that kind of behavior.” My husband had literally jumped a gate to escape a similar facility. He had mid stage Alzheimer’s dementia and was constantly confused, anxious, fearful and defensive. Lost. Sedona Garden has a high priority for the dignity as well as the medical status of every person every person in their care. Treasure House is a well maintained older house with a happy and light hearted feel and welcoming outdoor spaces. There are flowers and citrus trees. Caregivers are dedicated and as meticulous about showering and hygiene (including fingernails, haircuts, shaving, nose hair and all the rest) as they are about medication management. There is a full time cook and the food is healthy. People get all the help and attention they need for mealtimes, dressing, toileting. The owner is a nurse and there is another nurse often on site. Both are always available, responsive to questions/comments and coordinate well with primary care and over medical and allied professionals. There are frequent parties for birthdays and holidays. My husband has been at Sedona Garden Treasure House for the better part of a year. He can no longer take rides in the golf cart or help fold laundry when he’s anxious but he’s seldom anxious. He’s receiving hospice services. For some reason he didn’t like spending time in his first room. They changed him to another room he loves as soon as possible. Now that his disease is later stage he seldom speaks and needs help with everything. He sleeps a lot. He’s content and well cared for. I look forward to visiting. There’s no better place for someone special who needs a lot of help at the end of their life.
