Arbor Ridge Assisted Living

Arbor Ridge Assisted Living has been a true blessing for our family, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. When my mom's ex-husband passed away, a very difficult time for her emotionally, the staff at Arbor Ridge was incredibly attentive and supportive. They were sensitive to her needs and provided the extra care and understanding she needed to navigate her grief. It meant the world to me to see her treated with such kindness. One of the things that truly stands out is the variety and quality of their activities and entertainment. My mom is always engaged and has a great time, which has done wonders for her spirits. The family activities are also wonderful—they provide a fantastic opportunity for me to visit and bond with my mom in a fun, social setting. The personnel at Arbor Ridge are consistently pleasant and professional. Every interaction, from the administrative staff to the care providers, is marked by a high level of respect and genuine care. They are also proactive in their communication. My mom has some balance issues and falls from time to time, but the staff is always prompt in informing me of any incidents and giving me a thorough update on her condition. This level of transparency is incredibly reassuring. Overall, Arbor Ridge provides a safe, caring, and engaging environment. It's a place where I feel confident my mom is happy and well-cared for, and that is a priceless peace of mind.

My mother (who just turned 90 years old) has lived at Arbor Ridge Assisted Living for over two years. She has done well with adjusting from being on her own to now needing the skills and loving care that the Staff at Arbor Ridge are providing day and night, 7 days a week. My family and I are fortunate that she is well looked after so that she doesn’t go without. We have had numerous meals with her at their community dining room and have never had a bad meal. The wait staff do a tremendous job to learn and know what each resident desires for food and beverages. The med-aids, care givers, and facility support staff (I.e. management, finance, and maintenance crew) are always 100% supportive of the residents needs and keep the facility clean and safe. Thank you Arbor Ridge for treating my mother as family.

My sister has lived in Arbor Ridge for over two years. Having previously lived on her own, and being quite shy, there was concern that she wouldn’t adjust. I spent weeks visiting other facilities and found Arbor Ridge to be clean and the staff caring. During the first two weeks, the staff stayed near her, even walking with her to the lunchroom. As time progressed, she became more familiar with the other residents and staff. Today she feels at home and even takes walks with other residents. I can’t stress enough how genuinely all the staff cares for each resident. Whether it’s the Med Aides, the caregivers, or even the housekeeping staff, they all show so much love. There are activities for all the residents, and they are encouraged to participate in them. Knowing there is someone here 24 hours a day, to provide whatever care is needed puts me at ease. My sister will always miss her old home, but because of Arbor Ridge and the care staff, she has become happy once again. I can’t begin to express my gratitude.

Wonderful place for my mother. They are compassionate, patient and truly care about their residents. I feel confident that my mom is receiving excellent care, and living two states away, this lessens my worries about her considerably.

My Mom & Dad moved in here almost 11 years ago. Mom passed away 6 months after they moved in, but Dad is still here. Even though he misses Mom, Dad is very happy with Arbor Ridge. They take such good care of him, and I can tell they really do love him. My brother & I never have to worry about Dad because we know he is in good hands. They manage his meds, put on & take off his support stockings, even do his laundry if he wants. They always do it with loving care & smiles, too. The residents get regular visits from local Ombudsmen to make sure things are going smoothly. The management staff is always available to the residents' family; and I do so appreciate them. Dad appreciates them, too. He tells the caregivers that he just doesn't know what he'd do without them.
