"I placed my grandmother, who has Alzheimer's, here in March of 2020. In July the owner called me to request that I speak with my grandmothers Dr about adding a specific antidepressant to my grammas meds. The thing is, grandmother should have already been receiving that specific medication the whole time she had been living there. I know this because my grandmother lived with me for a year prior to moving in there. When I brought this up with the owner she argued with me about it and told me I was wrong. Then once I filed a complaint with the state about my grandmother not receiving the right medications she all of a sudden remembered that she had been giving it to her and proceeded to falsify her medication records. (Which I can prove because I have pictures of my grandma's medication log before and after this happened and there is definitely a difference) But because of the covid-19 restrictions that are currently in place the state couldnt do anything about this, which is just crazy to me! Then, the day after an investigator contacted the owner, My grandmother was found unconscious in the middle of a very busy street 1 mile from the home at 9 p.m. I got a call at 10 p.m. from the hospital saying that my grandmother had been admitted there (as a Jane Doe) due to bleeding in her brain. The caregivers at the home hadn't even realized my grandmother was gone until I called and woke them up and told them. I wouldn't recommend this home to my worst enemy let alone anyone I cared about!"
