We toured Evergreen Place with my parents and we loved it! Very welcoming and homey atmosphere. The residents were such happy people. It was so nice to see. We are looking very forward to their move in! Special thanks to Keeli. There were no questions she couldn’t answer. It was very obvious how much she loves her job and how much she is loved by the sweet residents and staff.

Evergreen Place is a fantastic community, one of the best communities in Vancouver in my opinion. The building is warm and inviting, the staff are friendly, Keeli was compassionate and very helpful. If you’re looking for a senior living community to move your loved one into, I would highly recommend this community.

My mother recently moved in and says “Everybody is so friendly here!” We had a warm welcome by staff and residents (including a gift basket with mom’s favorites). The one story building is very homey and allows the administrators to be present, observing and interacting. We are so appreciative of the way Keeli answered all our questions, McKayla and Tori reviewed all the medical considerations, Noelle made sure nothing was overlooked. The care team all have many years of experience and immediately worked to determine mom’s needs and to apply best practices. Necessary troubleshooting was brought to the attention of managers and solutions were implemented. The dining room has large tables so everyone has company. Nice that the tables are such that wheel chairs can pull up close. They even have placemats and cloth napkins at the table. The food is good and the service quick. The living room has a large tv for movies and favorite shows, but we were impressed with the daily list of activities, led by Rhonda. We also saw the sewing room where one resident makes clothes protectors for everyone. The outdoor courtyard, where a couple residents are cultivating tomatoes and flowers and where bird feeders are plentiful, is what got our attention immediately. Mom is mostly confined to a wheel chair and so was happy to see that the sink in the bathroom, and the fridge, freezer, lower drawers, and sink in the kitchen, are all easy for her to access. Lucas painted accent walls her favorite color and hung her pictures, professionally. Mom’s favorite part of her room is the windows with views of a bird feeder (thank you Lucas) and a grassy courtyard. The one story building allows her to wheel around without worrying about stairs and elevators. And of course, of great importance are the care staff, coordinated by Tarin. Winnie and Carla greeted us the first day, immediately taking care of soiled laundry and bringing it back folded. Abbey and Mary made sure my mom’s medication needs were met successfully. Pam made sure everyone was laughing, but also that all transfers were done with gait belts and safest protocols. Alex was very friendly. All the staff do little things, like turn on mom’s radio or put in a CD or put on her lipstick or just comb her hair correctly. The in-house salon took care of a bangs trim. Not sure what the word limit is here, but since I live out of town, and because I had such a bad experience with her last residence, I am just so impressed and relieved and happy. And best of all mom loves it too. Thank you!

I was very hesitant when our family knew it was time to let my grandparents go to senior living. After meeting Keeli, I knew they were going to do just fine at Evergreen! She was warm and welcoming, knowledgeable, fast responder, and made my grandparents feel welcome in their new home. Thank you, Keeli!

I can't say enough good things about Trustwell Living at Evergreen Place! The community truly feels like home the moment you walk through the doors. The single-story layout is such a thoughtful design, making it easy and safe for residents to navigate without the hassle of elevators. The enclosed courtyard is a beautiful and peaceful space where residents can enjoy fresh air and sunshine. The team here is incredible, Tarin goes above and beyond to ensure residents feel cared for and supported, Lacy is super sweet and friendly, always willing to help out whenever she can. Dora keeps the community looking clean and shiny. Rhonda has the best taste in holiday decor and makes the residents feel right at home. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and truly feels like 'Family Serving Family.' If you're looking for a place where your loved one will be valued and well cared for, I highly recommend Evergreen Place. Schedule a tour and see for yourself!
