This place has been so disappointing. The cooked arrived after 9 this morning and the residents sat for well over an hour complaining. The trash at the front door is overflowing flowing. I asked the nurse about the trash and she said the the housekeeper hasn’t been there for two days. I’m not lying. The place smells. At the cost you would think that they would provide pads on the bed for incontinence. The family doesn’t come often so the resident just wets her bed continuously. This orange sliced water was made yesterday and left to sit overnight. It’s still there. The room upon arrival was dirty early this morning so when was it cleaned because trash and crumbs was all over. Client was in the bed asleep. Owner, stop being sorry on your comments and DO SOMETHING!!!! It starts and stops with you all day everyday!!!!!!!!!
My family and I have our loved one residing at Brookdale Wake Forest. From the very first day of move in, there was a warm welcome from the residents and staff. Instantly we knew we had made the right decision. McKay in Sales, Sheri the Director and Brenda who works at the front desk are so helpful along the way. We are so happy with the care which is the most important thing to us. The three ladies mentioned go the extra mile to ensure Brookdale Wake Forest feels like home. We are very grateful.
Brookdale Wake Forest is highly recommended. The staff, the atmosphere and the community has exceeded our expectations. So happy we made this move for my mom who can now have quality of life.
Note: This feedback is specific to Brookdale Wake Forest Memory Care (aka Clare Bridge) After a four year stay at Brookdale, we reluctantly moved my mom to a new facility after significant declines in nearly every aspect of services. Resident care by staff - met expectations Facility - recent renovation was superficial, growing concerns about maintenance of infrastructure, carpet soiled, unpleasant smells Business administration - poor Turnover of key personnel - high Cost - highest by far of the 12 alternatives evaluated prior to move
My parents moved here at the beginning of June. The rooms are comfortable and bright, but this can be said of any decent facility. What sets Brookdale apart is the staff. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and above all, friendly. From before they moved in the staff made them feel welcome. They not only know my parents' names but all of us kids as well. (There are 5 of us.) Also, they seem to be happy working there. I never once had someone tell me that they were too busy to answer a question or help with an issue. One parent is in memory care and one in assisted living and I am equally happy with both. Their patience is amazing. The only reason it gets a 4 instead of a 5 is the food; way too much fried and salty meals with few alternatives. It tastes great but I don't think it's the healthiest of menus, especially for the age group.
