Brookdale Clear Lake

First, I have to say that the Brookdale community itself is a great community. It’s aesthetically nice but also has a very warm and welcoming vibe. I’ve toured the community on multiple occasions and cannot stress enough how polite and helpful everyone I met there who is on staff, but also the residents all seem genuinely happy. The cafeteria has great food which you think is extremely important. I would also like to add that Ali, Brad, and Rebecca are a pleasure to work with and I would gladly trust them all to care for my loved ones. I would absolutely recommend this community to anyone looking for a new home. Don’t take my word for it, book a tour and see for yourself. Great job Brookdale!

I toured here recently and was so impressed—not only with the community itself, but especially with the team. The sales girls were welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring throughout the entire visit. What also stood out was the people living there—I noticed how happy they seemed, and several even stopped to greet me during my tour! Wow! The warm, friendly atmosphere along with the professionalism of the team made the whole experience wonderful. Food smelled good but didn’t have a chance to try it! Next time

I really hate to do this because the staff that takes care of the residents are really great people. The administrator and people in the office is a different story. They are uncaring and don’t seem concerned about residents being ripped off. My good friend of over 30 years is a resident at Brookdale Pearland and I feel obligated to warn the residents and family members about the mobile dentist, Dr Moore and the scam they have been running. I understand this dentist is cordinated by the nurses Angela and Ericka. That is what I was told by the administrators receptionist when I called to complain. This dentists employee Thomas collects the money upfront before they do the work and then bills the insurance company. Double dipping, because when they receive the money from the insurance company they refuse to give it back to the resident. Also, the work by the dentist is sub par. I have made Brookdale aware of this, but they refuse to return my call, and just say we’re handling it, but they haven’t so far. They told the resident they’re working on it, but to no avail. At least 8 times Dr Moore’s employee Thomas has said he’s on his way to bring the residents money, but never showed up. We are talking about 1,650.00, that Dr Moore and Brookdale are refusing to refund. Beware residents before you are scammed, because it appears Brookdale Pearland expects the resident to take the loss. How disappointing!

Nurse Kelly is most amazing and super resourceful. We ate together with her and our loved one. Shrimp and grits, and fried mushrooms are delicious. Staff is kind and understanding, they are all going out of their way to make you feel welcome and home.

Cannot say enough about how great this place is! Relationships made are unparalleled. The staff work hard every day to ensure the safety and happiness of residents, would trust any loved one here. From the amazing events to the friendly “hello” at the front desk, it all just works.
