Fairwinds - West Hills

We were invited to do a Holiday show for the residents and their guests. I have to say how impressed I am with the staff and facilities. Likewise the guests formed a vibrant community and a wonderful audience. I have to say this is an example of a happy leisure community. My hat’s off to them.

My mother passed away last December after living at Fairwinds for several years. She was very well taken care of and the facility is bright and very clean. Her unit had big windows with views of the mountains and lots of light. The staff were lovely. The manager was responsive to any questions or concerns. We were so lucky to find this facility and I highly recommend it.

I can not say enough about the staff at Fairwinds. My father and his wife were there for over 5 years, during which time my dad’s wife passed away. He continued to live there several additional years. The staff, everyone included, were consistently kind, attentive, flexible, responsive, jumping in to solve problems. At that point my dad was alone and they embraced him. I live in another state and it provided me great comfort knowing that he lived in such a warm community. Long after my dad had to move because he needed a higher level of care, I would encounter staff members who continued to asked after him and send warm greetings. My wife was in the senior care industry for years and was overwhelmingly impressed not only professionally but with the extent too which staff cared for and accommodated residents. I want to be clear, no one asked me to write a review. I just feel compelled to share a glimpse of my experience. Heck, I want to move in!!!

We moved my elderly parents into Fairwinds in November. Fairwinds has been great. My parents have asked to move back to their old home many times but the people at Fairwinds have been very patient and brought them along so that they feel comfortable. My parents have stopped asking to move back to their old home. We are extremely pleased with the people and services at Fairwinds. My mother keeps telling me that the people at Fairwinds are just the nicest people. Rick and Lisa have been particularly helpful. We highly recommend Fairwinds.

What can i say...my mom had lived in her home for over 60 years and we thought it would be hard if not impossible to get her into a place she could feel like home...well it has been three months now and mom is so happy...the best decision my husband and I ever made...how lucky we found Fairwinds. Such a classy neat place with great food, great facilities. Mom loves her giant walk in closet. Thanks so much to Lisa and Rick for the warm hospitality there. Mom loves her new home so much. This place rocks....
