The Rushwood Senior Community

As someone who’s been in there there’s mold in multiple places of things they currently use. Syrup dispenser? Better hope you brought your own cause bet your getting a side of mold with that. The “Culinary Director” I don’t understand how is still employed. When things are running behind he is no where to be found but the first to be heard. Multiple employees have been there SICK one fresh out of a 4 day hospital visit and she was there the day after. Personally, I would not trust this place to take care of your loved ones as they can’t even take care of their staff or themselves. They don’t listen to their residents whatsoever so hope and pray you don’t get attached to any staff, nor will you ever find out if your friend or anyone has passed as you have to find out when you don’t see them again unfortunately. I feel it could definitely improve with better management and properly treated staff!

We were very impressed with the Rushwood independent living facility. It it. Dry nicely appointed with nice sized rooms and several amenities including an on site chef. All the staff we met were friendly and knowledgeable. When we found out that my relative smoked and that that was not going to work, Matthew Smith kindly got us some referrals that we had not considered before. We were so grateful that he would take time to help us out as I know this is a very competitive business and Matthew was not under any obligation to assist us. I highly recommend Rushwood and would enjoy it for myself if that time comes.

Everyone, staff and residents, has been very welcoming of me. I’ve enjoyed the meals and have yet to have anything that I didn’t enjoy.

Lovely facility. The decor is beautiful and I enjoy all of the art work. Wonderful staff. The Rushwood has been so responsive to any requests or questions. It's exciting being one of the first residents in this brand new Independent living facility! I love my apartment and I'm very happy I moved here.

I'm hunting for a new residence for my dad. I had an informative & lovely tour of this Senior Living campus. They are a newly built community & at the time of my visitation, some areas were in the final stages of preparation to receive new residents. I was very impressed by the features & services offered for those who will choose to call Rushwood their future home. For my tour, I was interested in their memory care residence, which was the area that was still receiving the final touches of construction. I was encouraged that Rushwood is pet friendly as so many seniors usually have to give away or find new homes for their furr babies & other pets before entering into care facilities. Overall, I had a wonderful experience on my tour.
