Forwood Estates

I accompanied my parents on their tour of Forwood Manor. Brian Abraham provided an informative yet not overwhelming experience. It was clearly evident that he has established a rapport with many staff and residents. The facility was clean and furnished beautifully. Forwood Manor has created a very “homey” and positive environment. Residents made it a point to welcome us and tell us how much they enjoyed their experiences there.

Big shout out to the staff at Forwood Manor! Only 5 days after my Mom and her partner moved to Independent Living she had a medical emergency and spent a few days in the hospital. Her partner is disabled and needed care. The Forwood team sprang into action. Brian, Tia, Pat, Jubian worked together to arrange for a quick transfer to assisted living until my Mom recovers. Their extra efforts helped our family navigate through a very difficult and stressful time. I would like to add that the facility is well maintained with lovely common areas, always clean and inviting. The apartments are the best we saw after touring many retirement communities. The entire staff are caring and responsive. I expect in another 20 years I too will call Forwood Manor my home!

A great experience today at Forwood Manor, thanks to Brian. He took the time to take us on a tour and explain everything about the accommodations and answered all of our questions and concerns. Brian was patient and wanted to make sure we were made fully aware of what Forwood Manor has to offer. We also thank you for your thoughtful gifts!

My mother has been at Forwood Manor for several years, first in Independent Living and more recently in Assisted Living. Her experience in both areas has been exceptional. She loves the food and the activities are wonderful. But most important is the care she gets from the nurses in Assisted Living. They truly care about her comfort and well-being, and my mother appreciates that enormously. And so do I.

As a local realtor for over 10 years I have gotten the opportunity to work with a few different communities. I have to say that Forewood Manor has an absolutely beautiful campus, 5 star food options and top class staff. They recent renovated many of their apartments. The apartments are well equipped and have quality finishes. If you are considering independent/assisted living in the north Wilmington area, you need to stop in at Forewood for a tour.
